It's near the end of the year which means a lot of best of lists. Entertainment Weekly has listed the 10 best shows of the year. If you don't agree with it you can blame Ken Tucker. I'm just the messenger. Shows I watch are followed by an asterisk.

    1. Breaking Bad (AMC)
    2. Parks and Recreation (NBC)
    3. Fringe (FOX)*
    4. Homeland (Showtime)*
    5. Louie (F/X)*
    6. Justified (F/X)
    7. Downtown Abbey (PBS)
    8. The Good Wife (CBS)
    9. Enlightened (HBO)
    10. The Colbert Report (Comedy Central)

And the 5 worst shows, although some are not actual shows:
    1. The Playboy Club (Cancelled)
    2. Willard (F/X)*
    3. Nancy Grace's coverage of the Casey Anthony trial (HLN)
    4. Charlie Sheen and the media's symbiotic craziness
    5. Charlie's Angels (Cancelled)

I just watch too much TV and I don't like to consider a top list with a mix of drama and comedy for some reason.

I guess I don't watch enough TV - I only watch 4 of those 20... Might have to check out the top several on your drama list.

I wish Person of Interest could have made the list. It is probably the only new show I have seen worth watching past the first episode. Nice also to see the Homeland love.

Also forgot that if you were giving Homeland some love then why not Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

I watch and agree with all the above. I would also include Shameless and the The Big C.

I watch the top 5 of EW's list and I wholeheartedly agree that they all five deserve to be there.

Of photoshopgrl's lists, I watch 5 of the dramas and 6 of the comedies. I definitely don't agree that Dexter and Walking Dead should be anywhere near any top 10 lists for their most recent seasons.

The Big C deserved a place on there...it was spectacular this season.

I watch six of Tucker's ten and will be starting Homeland and Justified soon. Not interested in Fringe, but I've heard positive things about Enlightened.

I'm pleased to see Fringe as #3. That is my favorite current show right now.
I hope it defies the "I like it, so it will be canceled" fate that has taken many other shows I liked. :p

Wow, gotta say I am sorely disappointed in this season of Fringe. By far it is the worst season yet. I gave Louie a chance and think it was bad. I'll agree with Breaking Bad, The Good Wife, and Justified. All three are very good shows. Best show on television by far is The Walking Dead. Worst show by far was Wilfred. Never even chuckled once. Can't see how it ever got renewed.

Best new show was American Horror Story. I also like Once Upon a Time.

Sons of Anarchy was pretty outstanding this season too.

Breaking Bad is the best show I watched all year. Other noteworthy shows are Sons Of Anarchy, Justified, Fringe and Boardwalk Empire.

Boss could have been great if not for four or five really stupid and unbelievable plot points.

The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Mike&Mike In The Morning and Pardon The Interruption are my must see daily shows.
