Bill Lawrence was on Zach Braff's and Donald Faison's Scrubs podcast this week and said fairly definitively that Ted Lasso is a three-seasons-and-done show. He said Sudeikis has three seasons of plot mapped out to take the show where he wants, and that since it films in Britain and Sudeikis has young children back home, he won't want to continue to be away after that. Lawrence also seemed to say that when they get there, he'll try to cajole Sudeikis into doing more, but it seems like the two more seasons that Apple has ordered are all we should count on.

It's good that the full series has been approved then. I really hate starting a series and then having it canceled before the story arc has been resolved. (I'm looking at you Mindhunter!)

If S2 and S3 are as popular as S1, I won't be at all surprised if Apple finds a way to entice Sudeikis to make more than 3 seasons.

Since this thread is active...I tweeted this* but didn’t say it here: my favorite bit of cheekiness early in the season was when Ted told the team to get out there and “show Crystal Palace whose house this is”.

The game action is filmed at Selhurst Park, which, in reality, is very much Crystal Palace’s house :D

*(That tweet got liked by Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence, so I’m clearly a big deal)

Just finished this. Even though not watching on 4K and not having any Dolby Vision TV, the colors still really pop on my big plasma. I'm noticing the same thing from other streams available in 4k Dolby Vision.
