I want to take out my 4tb hard drive in my Roamio Plus and swap it to my regular Roamio-have lifetime service on that. Since they are both Roamios, can I swap them and the recordings will be untouched, or will it wipe out the hard drive when I install in on the Roamio Plus? I hate to transfer ie. "kmttg" 4tb worth of shows to other hard drives and then restore them after the 4tb is installed.

You will lose all those recordings as they are tied to the serial number of the Roamio they were recorded on. You will have to transfer them in order to save them.

Thank you! I didn't think it was tied to the SN, only the type of device-example Roamio.
