Ok so for the last 2+ years I have had my faithful HR10-250... but with the new channels coming out I inquired about getting a HR20. However it seems that I need to pay $200 for a new HR20. Is this true? Does Dtv offer an incentive/rebates to switch? Ideas greatly appreciated.

I had two installed on Friday. The 20s, dish and installation were free. You have to fight for it. I got nowhere with the CSRs who wouldn't go lower than $99 each. I sent an email to the President and that did the trick.

or you could just ask for retention like most others. :) (read the threads referenced above for further information)

I had my three free HR20's installed this past Saturday - so far so good.
