The only thing worse than making a big move strictly for resume-building purposes? Telling everyone that you are making a big move strictly for resume-building purposes.

Will might have been able to pull off a delicate series of moves, and he might not have. But when he announced to everybody that he was flipping so that he could be The Man in the final tribal council, it made it really easy for everybody else to vote him off.

This was one of best challenge designs ever, with one fatal flaw: the puzzle was too damned easy. The first thing I saw was "vs" on one block; it shouldn't take too long for anybody to figure out that it said "Millennials vs. Gen X". Then it's just a matter of spelling.

So it wasn't perfect, but still, a fabulous design that rewards focus and concentration instead of brute strength or endurance.

Not to mention that once they realized that the puzzle was the logo for the season, they had a giant example to look at on the ground right in front of them.

Why were there two people voted off in a single hour episode? Was it because they had fewer medical removals from the game than planned for, and so they had to get rid of people more quickly to still get the numbers down in the required 39 days?

Jeff has said in the past that they now cast to have a few medical evacuations (or less likely someone quitting) and in the happy situation that they don't have them then they somehow get rid of 2 people in one week.

I'm at a loss to know what's a spoiler about that, but okay.

I'm think it was probably in the headlines for the news stories on the side. Those probably change from time to time.

I must really be missing something on Westworld for that to be a "huge spoiler" - but ok.

Anyway - about Survivor - I'm loving this season! I think it's because I really like everyone. Usually I find a few to not like, and one or two to really be rooting for. But this time, I like them all. Except Sunday. And I don't dislike her, I just don't really like her. I even like Jay. At first I didn't, but he's really grown on me. So I really don't care who wins, so it's all entertaining to me. I hope they can continue to cast a likable cast instead of always trying to find a villain.

It is amazing how David has avoided being voted out after his name keeps coming up. But I'm happy he's still there. He started out as such an underdog - and I guess he still is now that everyone wants him out. I always love a good underdog.

I think they had a challenge something like this on Big Brother, except if you didn't catch the ball before it fell, you had to start over whatever they were doing. The sloooow wait while the ball rolled down was even better. But I don't think they should have let them look at the puzzle while they waited. Some of them at first stood with their backs to the puzzle, but then Jeff said they could study it.

I don't see anything at that link that has anything to do with Westworld. Would you mind posting here (in spoiler tags) what you saw that was such a spoiler?
A couple of seasons ago on Survivor, they had a challenge where the contestants had to put a ball into a contraption where the ball would roll around through the device and eventually fall out the bottom. I think they had to keep 3-4 balls going in the machine at all times and if one dropped, they were out. This is a similar concept, but instead of having to keep multiple balls going at the same time, you have to solve a puzzle while the ball is in the machine. Both challenges were very cool.

A few paragraphs down on the first page.

I guess it's a spoiler for anyone who hasn't see any episodes at all to learn the named characters are robots. It's something you'll learn in the first ep.

    Oh, and it's "Dolores".

    That's all I see.

I wouldn't call it a "huge spoiler" by any stretch, but in the first episode of Westworld
they briefly try to trick you into thinking that Teddy is a guest when he's really a host; the linked article names him as a host.
This is revealed partway through the first episode and isn't a big deal IMO. I'm not sure most people would even be able to relate the spoiler to the episode. But I guess it's worth marking as a small spoiler for the first part of the first episode.

I wish someone other than Ken had the legacy advantage. I'm not convinced he'll know what to do with it.

I agree with all of this and even mentioned to my wife how there's no one to really root against. It was nice having all new players and, as most appear to be big fans, they have really played the game right out of the gate. No redemption island or other gimmicks to get evictees back into the game either.

I liked the 2 evictions in one hour as a once in a while thing. Lots of competitions and less time for the red herring editing of who the target is prior to TC. Although the way things have gone that doesn't even matter much as votes change on the spot! :)

Great season overall and it doesn't feel like a worn out show that's been on for 30+ seasons. Kudos to them for keeping it fresh.

The article also reveals the identity of Rosebud from "Citizen Kane", the final twist of "The Sixth Sense", and the winner of the 2004 World Series. Please include appropriate spoiler warnings.

One could argue that this very sentence is a "Sixth Sense" spoiler. ;)
