Kass, is that you?
Perhaps Rob will know he has a target and adjust his game accodingly and go find HIIs, or those coins and buying advnatages, etc.
I'm making Sophie my winner pick.
I wouldn't put it past him. And, if they keep Redemption Island the same as in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets voted off early, spends most of the game at RI, comes back late in the game and wins. I'd completely HATE that scenario.
Me too but I would hate ANYONE coming back late to win. I don't mind most of the stuff they've added over the years (although I think there are way too many idols and advantages) but the one thing I can't stand is second chances. Once you're voted out you should be out.
Agree completely. And they've made it too easy to find idols as well. RI to me was the worst thing they've added, and they implemented it poorly. But, if they "end" it at the merge or soon after, I can live with it. But if they end it right before the end of the game, that's terrible
It'd be interesting if in one season they told all the players that there were idols, but there actually weren't any in the game...
It might be fun to have NO tribes and let them all play an individual game and see how alliances develop without the artificial ones that get created due to tribes. Sure they could have them choose sides before certain challenges, but in the end, at TC, just one person has immunity.
That's what I've been wishing for for several years now. I liked the basic idea of One World but thought it just turned out poorly. I think Survivor is now gunshy about doing another twist like that, even though I think the problems with One World had nothing to do with the fact that they all started on the same beach.
They never should have separated the players in One World into two tribes. Really needed to be a single tribe with different groups for each challenge.
So tired already about people crabbing about Redemption Island. It's happening, so deal with it or don't watch!
Edge of Extinction. Redemption Island was different since they had to win to stay.
Are you new here? These boards wouldn't exist without people complaining If you don't like people complaining don't come here
So it's okay for you to complain incessantly over and over about something but it's not okay for me to call you out about it? Complain about your complaining?
I don't mind about you and others complaining about it once, but over and over again gets very tiresome. We get it, you don't like it. Let it go.
It's gonna keep happening, if not me than others and it's not going to stop. Sure, call us out, but the way you did it was sort of condescending, no? The thing is, when something like this happens, people are going to react to it. It's the nature of social media. Has it stopped? No. Will it stop? No. So the easiest thing to do is either ignore it or simply don't come here to read it. Complaining about the complaining just perpetuates the issue and you'll get more posts from people like me complaining about you complaining Full Disclosure: I am positive I've made a post similar to yours more than once here
Jeff Probst reveals the big new twist for 'Survivor: Winners at War'
Ok, this is weird. They are introducing 'Fire Tokens' as currency for this season.
I'll reserve judgement on this until I see it being played. It all sounds confusing to me when explained, but will probably become clearer when it's put in play.
It sounds interesting to me. If I am following correctly, active players (those still in the game) have fire tokens. Fire tokens don't directly help someone who is sill in the game. Instead, it sounds like fire tokens will help those on EOE with their quest to get back in the game. So, those on EOE will want fire tokens. On EOE, their are advantages to be found that don't actually help those on EOE. Instead, these advantages will help those still in the game. Thus, there will be some way for those still in the game to use the fire tokens to "buy" advantages from those on EOE. That way each party ends up with something they can actually use.
But that’s not the only use for fire tokens:
I wonder if by any chance Edge of Extinction will be in the location that Rob and Sandra's house was on Island of Idols. If so, or rather, if they were to have had any forethought, perhaps they buried items of value (machete, stuff to make fake idols, etc) that they could then get if/when they go to EoE......
And I don't mind the tokens twist. As far as seasons in the future I don't know but for these S40 players, who are supposed to all be good players, it will force them to strategize and think differently. That's a good thing.
