Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse is no more at DL, it is now Tarzan's Treehouse. WDW still has the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

My favorite challenge ever was the "Home Depot Improve Your Camp" one which Boston Rob won for his tribe.

Wasn't there a tribe a few seasons back - the one with the professor guy in it? - that built a great hut and had a bench and a really nice fire pit. That's what I would be aiming for.

I am still amazed at how many people come on to the show and don't know how to start a fire with flint and a knife. That would be the first thing I would have someone teach me to do. I mean really. You know you are going on the show so why not try to learn 5 basic survival techniques. Heck, don't wait till you find out you are going but maybe while you are waiting to hear back from the studio.

How to build a waterproof hut - w/roof and raised flooring.
    How to light a fire.
How to fish with no gear.

Part of the problem is they know that when the Merge happens, usually around Day 21-24, they have no guarantee that they'll be living at their own camp after that. Sometimes they pick one of the two camps, sometimes they go to an entirely new third location.

I've given up even worrying about their living conditions after this many seasons....I promise you that a tribe that is dry, well rested, and comfortable will win WAY more challanges than one that isn't. I'd have the most dry and comfortable shelter that show has ever seen!
