The good ol magical means or a vpn to the channel 10 webplayer, if the vpn i.p. isn’t blocked and of course YouTube. Might check out Survivor New Zealand too. There are 2 seasons of it after last year. It wasn’t on the 2020 schedule, it might return in 2021.

If you don't want to deal with VPN's or torrents, Daily Motion is your best bet.

Watched the first ep of S3 on youtube. It's good and almost exactly like american survivor. They didn't mention immunity idols yet, though. The host is good--he mentioned it was his first season.

So Survivor won't be on the fall schedule. Is anything on the fall schedule? Like actually starting in september or October????

Fox and CW basically booked filler shows knowing that regular fall programming would be delayed. The big 3 all have normal shows scheduled for fall but have not given a date as to when “fall” begins. CBS replaced Survivor with S.W.A.T. on the fall schedule but that hasn’t started production yet either.

I wish CBS would air one of these other countries Survivors this fall. I wonder why they can't? I get rights and all, but I'd think there could be a deal made, like we trade them a US season for one of theirs.

They already show the US seasons over there. Same for The Amazing Race, but none of the US networks seem to want to show the non US versions of some of these shows. The exception has been Masterchef Canada on The Cooking Channel.

The US networks could easily fill some programming slots with Canadian, Irish, UK, New Zealand and Australian versions of some of these shows. There are some duds, but there are many good seasons too.

The 3rd season of Australian Survivor is actually the first season of a reboot on channel 10. They originally tried it a decade ago with a regular season and a celebrity season. Neither went over very well. The current reboot version is very popular there.

I'd just as soon stay away from torrents, but I've got a VPN available. So, where, and how, to find it?

Looks like Big Brother is pushing forward. Planning to sequester crew as well as cast, living in RVs in the lot for a month at time then rotating with others, off 2 weeks and when they come back quarantine 2 weeks before working another month on set.

Thanks for the suggestion of Survivor Australia Season 3. I am really liking it. Made it up to episode 5 yesterday.
It does throw me off when the host says what should be a standard Probst phrase, but changes it ever so slightly. Those kooky Australians.
And kind of funny they don't censor the tamer curse words, and don't censor butt cracks. And I didn't burst into flames seeing a butt. Crazy American rules. :D

I've said the same thing for a long time.. long long ago, it seems like the US aired shows from other countries more often.. e.g. The Prisoner aired here on CBS. Nowadays you see foreign shows on PBS, though also PBS and basic cable (e.g. Discovery) shows seem to be coproductions with companies from multiple countries already involved.

The one instance I remember of this happening was that TLC aired Undercover Boss: Abroad, which was versions of Undercover Boss from other countries (looks like just English speaking countries).. Hmm, there were 33 eps of that. I don't think I saw all of them.

Ha. I have a similar moment watching TAR Canada. Whenever Jon Montgomery says to a team that "You're the first team to arrive" instead of "You're team number 1", I wait for a "...but you cheated" followup that usually doesn't come. :D

I'm sure there are contractual reasons for this, especially for shows with contestants from other countries. It's different for scripted shows where they can more easily contract actors for international rights. Those contracts are probably more standard, more like movie contracts

Loving Survivor Australia. So happy it was recommended here.
And they have the Survivor Auction! I miss that in the US version. I love to see them bidding on food items.

I'll echo this thanks. Has provided me with something to watch. I had watched 4 seasons of Survivor AU and enjoyed it. And 2 seasons of Big Brother AU which I enjoy way more than the US version. Currently watching the new Big Brother Au.

Not to go look for UK versions

I think the answer is probably no. if you live in the US, there is no legitimate way to watch it legally. Any method, whether it is streaming through a VPN, direct downloads, torrents or bootleg DVDs is illegal. I'm pretty sure even watching it on a site like YouTube or Daily Motion is technically illegal as well, but I don't think I've ever heard of someone being prosecuted for doing so.
