I can't figure out Philip. I don't think he's as nutty as he acts. But I don't think he's all there either. It's getting to be the time in the game when you think about who would get jury votes. Philip may have ticked off enough people that he will be kept around under the assumption no one would vote for him.

I have two different friends that are a little off. I have known them a long time and I get along, but around other people, they tend to turn the 'oddities' up a notch. I think that is what Phillip is doing, just turning it up a notch. He is certainly a loon, but probably not as loony as shown on TV. I think it is a function of the game that turns people even crazier.

Isn't this exactly why they're doing the buddy system? So that this kind of thing doesn't happen like it always does?

That, and I'd imagine that editing can make anyone seem crazy. Record anybody 24-7 and I'm sure you could find enough strange things they did to edit them into 2 minutes like they're a crazy person.

That would be awesome! They could spend each week arguing about the Samurai Code :)

That was my thought, Rob is playing like Russell this time around only with a social game.

Is there no fight left in the other tribe? So what if the other tribe is buddying up? I'd be screaming and yelling toward them that so and so is on the bottom of the totem pole and Rob is controlling you and so on. You HAVE to make them think for themselves somehow.

To me, the only person on Rob's tribe that is thinking for himself if Philip. Once he gets to the final tribal, he can make some legitimate points about how even though Rob seemed to be controlling the game, that he made some strategic moves that made it possible. He might not be right, but I think that's his game. And I could see him flipping on Rob at the right moment. He never really was a Rob ally at the beginning, but now its in his best interest to be one, since he saw what happened to others that have crossed Rob. I am also beginning toward thinking that Philip is more "crazy like a fox" than just "crazy"

no it isn't. It was so nobody would be alone when THE OTHER TRIBE tries to recruit them. Just like it happened with Ashley and Natalie.

I think the smartest thing for the losing tribe to do is, once its announced the jury is forming, is to say the following:

"Look, we are going to lose. We know it, you guys have us outnumbered, and we can't beat you. We respect that. But we know its been Boston Rob running the show, and he's done such a good job that, unless one of our tribe happens to make it to the final three, we will all vote for Rob. There are six of you left. Three of you will make it to the end, three of you will be on the jury, so, even though you beat us, we get to decide who wins. And we are deciding on Rob right now."

Then watch Rob ***** his pants.

On Survivor's Facebook page they just posted a poll.
Who do you think will be the first Jury member? And they gave David, Matt and Mike as the choices.
I guess my thought that everyone left is on the jury or in the finals was correct.

I'm not sure if they got the message (at least nobody stated the "hint" on camera - and they started digging in that spot because they thought the flagpole had moved), but I think Rob sure did. He really went all out get there quickly and dig, as soon as he saw the others digging.

The losing tribe is still paying the price for jumping the gun and taking Russel out so early thus allowing Rob's team with the experienced player to dominate. I love seeing Russel's old team go down one at a time. I don't like any of them.

I think the former Z tribe missed an opportunity at the first TC that night. They could have said out loud, "Look, we're all voting for Rob. If two of you guys want to vote for him too, he's gone right now. Nobody even has to know who did it. You can each deny it, as long as you never say a word. Here's your chance, and it's your last chance."

I'm not on Facebook but another way to read that is that
one of the three will be on the jury and the others will be out of the game

Two of them will have to be out of the game, after the next RI Challenge.

I don't think they HAVE to be out. With 12 total and three finalists, any odd number of jury members is fine.

Actually, with three finalists, ANY number of jury members is as good as any other. :)

I think Rob would be foolish to continue to whittle away at the other "former" tribe until just his own is left. There is too much unity there and it would be easier for them to gang up on him. I think his strategy should be to try to reduce both tribes, while keeping his tribe's numbers to the advantage. I think he'd be able to play them against one another better.

I guess it looks like I think Rob is the front-runner :D - I do think he seems to be the only one actually playing the game, although I think we could see some surprises from Grant - he seem quite capable too, while at the same time lying low.

It's risky though, because it has the potential of all of them turning on him if he tries something. He has to be very careful who he decides to trust with this plan.
