I think Na is just trying to become TV's next Omarosa. She knows she can't win, but if she can make other TV appearances and other reality shows, it might be a living for a while.

If Jane really hates Marty, she should slowly befriend him, pull a "we need to stick together against these kids who will turn on me soon" and then blind-side him. That will ultimately satisfy her much more. I agree you really shouldn't play this game with any grudges or hatred towards one particular player. Everyone with that attitude seems to get themselves eliminated, even if they take down someone on the way out.

I'm all Team Fabio now. I see a few of you are too.

Jane plugs P90X in the show, Jeff plugs it in his blog. I'll plug it too, it works :) I can't stand her though. Fabio is the only one I want to win.

You pretty much nailed how I'm looking at those three. I'm kind of rooting for Marty, mostly because at this point he's outnumbered yet somehow continues to stay in the game. The merge was the best thing for him as he has a couple of allies now. For some reason, Jane rubs me the wrong way. I think she's overly obsessive about Marty and isn't seeing the forest for the trees. First of all, she's at the bottom of the pecking order with the younger tribe and they know, if she gets to the finals she'll probably win. Second if she aligned herself with the older folk and brought in someone like Alina, she could change the game. As it is, she's gone as soon as the rest of the older folks go. I could like Brenda if she wasn't friends with Na, eventually, that's going to hurt her. Na needs to go now.

As for this being a boring season, well you just had two of the better seasons ever on Survivor (thanks Russell) and I knew this season would be a let down. This is no worse or better than the typical Survivor season, but it's not a standout.

I think CBS understands this and that's why they are having another "all-star" type season in the spring.

As crazy as Russell was with his thefts of things at the camps, Nay has taken it to a whole other level... She is either crazy like a fox or absolutely bat-shizzle crazy, and really, despite the speculation above that she's doing this all on purpose so she can get future TV offers, I don't think she is really that smart and instead this is all about she really is that crazy.

I want her gone, I want smug Brenda gone, and I'd love to see Sash get screwed as the camp started cannibalizing on itself, but I don't see how it will happen for a while as Brenda and Nay are too close, and Brenda and Sash are too close.

Jane is too singularly focused on getting rid of Marty and in reality she should have worked on USING him first, instead she let her early experience with him drive herself crazy and now he has sewn the seeds of why she can't be kept around that long herself. Soon enough both will be gone *unless* they can somehow keep winning individual challenges.

Its still a little early, but it would be interesting to see what everyone's final 5 would be at this point?

I figure Brenda, Sash and Nay are around until the bitter end. Who is there with them to round things out, I'm not sure, but I doubt that Jane or Marty is there, and Dan may become easy pickin's since he probably can't win an immunity challenge to save his life in the game. Fabio may be kept around until top 5 or may be able to keep himself around by winning some challenges, but it's hard to tell for sure. To me the others are just also rans somewhere in the middle of the pack that will eventually fill the jury and have to figure out just how much they were played by the top 3 as they get cast aside along the way.

Regarding location of next episode so I will spoilorize it to be safe.

Isn't next season again back to back filming (like Russel's seasons) in the same general area/region?

Unfortunately is does certainly look like Sash, Nay, Purple, Brenda are running the show and will make it far.

I'm simply hoping the rest realize it too. Maybe Marty can help them see it.

When Na was telling Allina that no one liked her, I yelled at the TV, "She's lying to you...". But after hearing the comments during the voting, maybe no one did.

Ugh, who would be in in the allstars this time? I can't imagine anyone from this season. Most of the people I like/remember were in last season, so I don't want to see them all again.

Yay time for Ponderosa videos again! :) I really enjoy seeing the people outside of the game. From the video it looks like:

The Ponderosa accomodations are MUCH nicer than in recent years. No tents! They look like they are staying at a resort or a private mansion.

It was mentioned in the "Previously On" bit and then she said something about it in a confessional interview. Unless they can figure out a way to blindside her, I think she's in the game for a while.
No, the terms were that Marty got it back for the next tribal if he was in danger of being voted out. Sash ensured that Marty was safe for that TC, so now the HII is Sash's for good.
Where did you get that information? I can't imagine that's true with Heroes vs. Villains so close in the rear view mirror.

I'd love to see Marty, Fabio and Chase band together and get a couple other people and turn the tables on the Brenda, NaOnka and Sash alliance. Unfortunately, I don't think Fabio and Chase are smart enough to see that they're at the bottom of the pecking order in that other alliance, and I don't think there are enough people willing to make the jump. But it would sure make this season more interesting.

Chase seems to be more with Jane now, and with Jane hating on Marty, looks like Chase is out.

If Marty did his best, he might be able to get these people on his side:

    Fabio
    Dan
    Holly
    Benry?

I don't think it happens, unless something divides up the other people and Marty can exploit the rift.

How is the location of the NEXT season or the 'theme' of the NEXT season a spoiler?

Because any information about future episodes that's obtained from an outside source (including previews of the next episode) are considered spoilers per the definition of spoilers on this forum.

If you don't mind reading them, they're easy enough to highlight and read. And for those that don't want to know this outside information, they can steer clear of it.

Spoilerized as it relates to the location of next season...

If I'm reading correctly, y'all are saying next season (Spring 2011) is filmed in Nicaragua, same as this season?

That's too bad, as this is the first time in a while that the location has flat-out sucked. There are no water challenges, which are always fun. They had to build a small pool, just to have water involved in a challenge a couple weeks ago. There is no incredible vistas, like most of the South Pacific provides. It's just... drab & dull.

Perhaps they committed in advance, because there is no way they (the producers) can like where they are.
