yeah last week when they were firewood hunting. Chelsea found one by accident in a tree...
This is her. She's also the one who started the fire in like 2 seconds...
I really liked the #Has1Idol they did last year when they were onscreen...

I'm guessing from the way this season HAS to be edited we are missing out on a LOT of Idol Hunting and post Idol Island talk. They have to cut something to show the ridiculous idol island...So we're missing out on all the 'suspicious time away from camp' talks.

And OMG when vince was losing it when he met Rob and Sandra...and Rob did that eye roll...Priceless!

I think the Vince test was ridiculous. There are cameramen right there clearly making noise all the time so because it's pitch black they sleeping people will just think it's the camera people walking around.
You could tell they edited together some "Stirred awake" footage because the sleepers positions changed between cuts...

Heard an interview with Vince. He was asked what he told his tribe after he returned from IoI and he told them a lie. He was then asked whether he could have told the truth about what happened on IoI and he hesitated and then said, "Uh, I can't answer that."

So I think it's clear the players have been instructed that they can't spill the beans about Rob and Sandra to the rest of their tribemates.

I guess that confirms what we all assumed.

But why not let us hear them tell them that?

Yeah, they obviously wanted to get the most bang for the buck out of the surprise, but the fact that they won't allow any of the players to tell each other about it is kind of bulls**t. It basically amounts to game manipulation, which is precisely why Vince wasn't allowed to discuss it during the interview. I can't recall anything similar in past seasons where players were forbidden from discussing something with other players that we saw happen to them on the show. While I like the concept of the Island of the Idols, the actual execution of it kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I wonder if anyone will return to Island of the Idols before every one has a chance to go.

Good question about a second visit, although if it is something they don't want, it would be easy to prevent by not having their name in the draw bag.

I'm not convinced that they're told directly that they cannot tell: I don't think it's a rule (like "you can't steal other people's stuff" is a rule).

Every time another person goes, the person who's already been there worries that the new person might come back and out them to the tribe. I suppose the contestants might be coached to say that but it seems unlikely to me.

I would not be surprised if the previous visitors are coached to act worried. I bet that it may be a very strongly worded suggestion to NOT tell the rest of the tribe what is really going on a IotI. That being said, we are being deprived of key conversations now that multiple tribe members have been sent.
