I feel bad for Molly. She didn't see that blindside coming at all. That's what happens when you get complacent, though. I knew someone from that three person alliance was toast as soon as they decided to take a nap. :)

What was up with the beginning of the episode? Not only was there no "previously on" segment, but instead they showed a few brief clips from the episode that was about to air. I hope this doesn't become the norm. I'm not a fan of this format, as I hate pre-show spoilers.

Yeah... I was hoping that Ellie Kemper (ahem...I mean Molly) was going to be around for a while. I liked her personality a lot more than I did Noura. But maybe Noura was a victim of a bad edit.

I loved Rob and Sandra's "lesson" this week. As soon as I realized what was going on, I was severely in doubt that Kellee was paying attention at all! She really surprised me. Though I think the "Army" answer was a guess. When she gave that answer, it sounded more like a question than a statement.

And she returns and lies about it too... They must be getting coached to keep this a secret... I have to believe that if they were not getting coached, that they would realize that the cat would be out of the bag soon, and expose them as big fat liars!

Molly was really pretty and charming, which is why they got rid of her. A little early for that strategy, but I didn't see any sign that they needed her for comps. Noura will be gone soon, and Molly's buddies will have to sleep less and try to talk everybody in camp--exactly what Sandra and Rob were getting at. ;)

I'm digging this season a lot so far. Lots of interesting characters.

I have to think that these people just want to keep this visit to the island a secret for now. Everything I've read everywhere says they are allowed to say whatever they want. Jeff Probst even said if it was him out there, he'd have kept it a secret as well.

Who knows with the edit, but Molly's game was horrible.

She played it like this were high school and most popular wins.

A good player lays low, makes it to tribal, and then lays it on.

Yeah...she admitted that she was too confident and that this has "humbled" her...

It's always so fascinating when someone gets blindsided and you wonder if there was anything they could have done to either avoid or anticipate the blindside...

I guess you gotta give the other players credit for realizing that her extreme likability was a huge potential threat. I think someone even referred to her as "Parvati 2.0", and her big smile kind of did remind me of Parvati. Someone like that can be really dangerous, so they wisely got rid of her before she had a chance to fully entrench herself.

And how awesome is it to have an Olympic swimmer on your team? Elizabeth was an absolute beast in the water!

I want to know what the other 2 questions were from Rob, and see if she would have gotten them with only 4.

I didn't understand the comments about those 3 (King, Queen, etc) being the cool kids, and the rest being the geeks. Must just be the context of a small sample size in that environment, but none of those 3 would ever be considered overtly beautiful or charismatic to be "popular kids" in the real world.

Maybe it was the Army hat Sandra was wearing that clued her in?

Based on Dalton's interview with Probst it sounds as if the "flash forward" will be used for at least awhile I hate it too. Jeff Probst explains the new 'Survivor' intro

    Thanks for the link!

It sounds like not only are they going to stick with the "flash forwards", but they are also going to completely eliminate the "previously on" segment. That strikes me as a very odd decision.

The on-screen listing of advantages and idols was introduced in part to avoid having to show recaps of prior idols found or advantages attained.

Great, they voted out the babe first. I hate when that happens.

Noura has a great strategy - irritate everyone, complain to everyone, piss off everyone. She survived this vote but I agree with others that she's not long for this game.

Sometimes the most annoying people can actually make it really far in the game. Case in point, former federal agent Phillip Sheppard. :)

I was surprised Boston Rob went from offering 4 questions / 2 days to 3 questions / 3 days. I would've thought he might lower the questions, or increase the number of days, but not both.

I too would've liked to have heard the other questions to see if she could've answered them.

    In front of...
Her undergrad was from Harvard and is getting her MBA at Wharton. She could have gotten all 5 questions right in her sleep.

Even without her intelligence, this task was so much easier than Elisabeth having to take on Rob in fire making, it didn't seem fair.

The trend seems to be to vote out the "good" players first and fast, keeping the "poor" or "awkward" players around because they are "goats" who don't really have a chance to win at the end. This is why, I think, the show keeps doing things to let players get back in to the game once they have been voted out. Some of these players deserve a 2nd chance (at least the show's producers think so).

That is hard too believe. She seems pretty annoying.

Coached by Rob and Sandra? I believe that is possible...

    Same!
