They can change or control as they wish, if they make them do the next one they can put in what they want once the person is chosen to go to the island. Someone we want to further in the game, give them an advantage, someone we don't give him a dud urn.

That's why Probst specifically said that the row of urns is out there on Day 1, meaning all the urns have been loaded ahead of time and put into a specific order. They won't be changing out what's in each urn depending on who gets sent to Ghost Island.

I can't believe how badly Jacob got played by the yoga lady. :) I think she's a yoga lady? Anyway, when he started saying that he was going to tell her a secret, I was like nooooo this is like the ice cream scooper all over again, don't fall for her feminine wiles!

It would make no sense if the advantage that can be used only with 13 or 6 left in the game was won when there was less than 13 in the game. So in that sense I think they probably have to be broken in order even if we didn't hear them say that specifically.

I have no doubt that there are plenty of instructions to the cast from the producers that we don't see on TV.

To be fair, the clue in the urn didn't say anything about Sierra's Secret Advantage. It simply said that he had the opportunity to play a game and to follow the fire. It was at the top of the hill after following the torches that he was presented with the "game," which resulted in him getting the Secret Advantage. The producers still have the flexibility of what items to insert into the various Ghost Island games. The only thing set in stone is the order in which the urns will be broken and therefore the days on which the person on Ghost Island will get a chance to play a "game."

Well yea if you actually believe that. Lately it just seems things get steered towards people they want in the game. So I’ll take what he says with a grain of salt.

She seems pretty full of herself. Didn't she proclaim herself the "beauty" of beauty and the beast? She's got a banging body....but not the most attractive from the neck up.

Jacob is totally that one dude we all know that thinks he's always the smartest person in the room, but lacks the self-awareness to realize he's actually dumber than a box of rocks.

I don't understand why people just can't keep their mouths shut when they find an idol. It's one of the biggest mistakes you can make, especially so early in the game before you've established any solid bonds, and yet we see people do it season after season. And what Dom did was even stupider. What exactly did he hope to accomplish with that charade? It sucks, because I was actually rooting for him, but I think he just put a huge target on his back.

    In front of...
Dom was thinking he could convince his rival that at some point in the future he would give his rival the idol. At which point Dom would give the FAKE idol, thus lulling the rival into a false sense of security while still building bonds with him. Or at least I think that's what he thought. o_O

I don't know why he didn't pretend that he went out and looked and just found it so it didn't look like he was lying before.

I didn't get the point of finding an idol, making a fake, and then admitting to having one (the fake). Fake or real, people now think/know you have an idol. How is showing a fake one going to help him? Am I missing something or is this guy just an idiot?

I didn't really follow the logic to that, either. The only thing I could think of was so that if the guy asked for the idol he could give it to him and look like the good guy, without sacrificing his real idol.

It's just such a poor fake, literally one shell with a bit of twine, that even with the note I don't know how anyone would be fooled.

I don't usually/ever disagree with you but I just don't read this the same way. Yes the urns are out there. Yes the producers know what is in each earn...but I don't see anywhere in that quote that says the players have to go in order...nor do I remember the note saying that. I remember "Break an urn".

Either way...I guess we'll find out next time somebody goes. If they break the 3rd urn in order I'll concede ;)

I am 99% sure the note does just say "Break an Urn", because I remember thinking during the episode I would break a random one in the middle because it doesn't say they have to be in order and they're not numbered or anything. :)

Don't concede. People are lemmings and will naturally follow what has happened before.

It was a sign and it said “smash the urn.”
