To bad Michelle got kicked off first. Everything she said at tribal was true and it seemed like her tribe agreed, she just came across as to bitchy i guess. And what was up with Jeff? Is it me or did he really try to stir things up. He seemed more vocal at the challenges and at tribal....You can really see the difference in HD. (duh,lol..) Almost looked like a movie...

Yeah, as soon as she started calling people out who did badly in the challenge I knew she was gone.

It took me a bit to get used to it as it seemed to be shot a little different. I guess with HD cameras they have less of them. When a couple people were talking, they would pan the camera back and forth instead of cutting back. However, I love it in HD!! :D

No, she said that her two tennis shoes weighed ten pounds.

WTF? Ten pound shoes? Nice choice especially when they get wet.

Now which of the guys are going commando now (as said by my wife)........

There were a few HD blurs last night.

Yeah, very film like HD. Awesome work CBS.

Now, go ahead and make TAR be an HD show...I know there are tons more cams needed for that show, but come on now.....

If an Olympic runner challenged me to a race, and they were wearing a dress and 10 pound shoes, I'd still never stand a chance. Unless it is against this chick.

Fang tribe is a mess. I like Randy and GC though.

The 'professor' character on the Kato tribe is pretty cool, even if he wears a bowtie everywhere.

And I think this episode made history - I believe this is the first time we've seen a pixilated camel-toe in High Def.

I would still pick her in a race with Donbadabon :D

She must have put on some weight since her running days. I told my wife I was looking forward to her smoking the rest in the initial race but she was moving kind of slow at the junction

Usually with editing they try to make it look like it could go one direction when we all know it will not go that way (for the most part) but I almost thought Dan (I think that is his name who went to Exile "Island") would be voted out as that tribe is just that stupid! Now he did a smart move showing his empty bag so he was not a threat however that could only be for that week. Maybe he found it and didn't bring it that week (I don't think he did).

Also in the first two episodes (I count it as two) it shows why HD will be bad. 3 days in and Michelle was already bitten up and looking like crap.

Now I have a personal conflict. I don't have an HD DVR (DirecTV) so do I watch this live in HD or time shift it in SD?

Well, if he got voted out he'd never see it again if he didn't bring it with. Maybe it's his lucky tie...

I do, however, remember her saying that she won the gold in the 4x100 relay. They don't train much for endurance. But still, i expected more from an olympic runner regardless....

I saw that and said to my husband... oh that's bad, they had to blur out the camel toe!! Maybe HD isn't good after all for this show! :)

On the other hand, I do like it, it's a much different feel than it was in SD, they may be doing more differently than just HD, but I like it.

The red tribe, STUPID... stupid stupid people. The first girl voted out blew my mind, so what if she's not fitting in to the social circle yet. She was busting her butt at the challenges and they were loosing, they should have cut dead weight, like Gillian first and then the pink shirted girl second. Neither of them performed well at the challenges. I imagine that over the next few weeks Yellow is going to clean their clocks!!

Randy is probably the smartest guy on the tribe, though he does seem like a negative nelly to me, he's smart enough to keep his mouth shut!!

I'm bad with names, some I remember, but most I don't.... the guy who went to exile island was smart to dump out his bag and prove to them he didn't have it. Best deflection yet. I couldn't believe he was looking in the water for the idol. The clue said across the lake, not in the lake!! :) Though I have to admit when they showed were it was, I thought it was farther than I would have looked. It's across a tree line, I do think it's going to take awhile for someone to decide to go beyond the tree line to look for it.

Can't wait for next week, maybe they'll show more of the yellow tribe, I assumed they were boring this time since they were winning so much!

I was thinking I would have stripped down to my wares to prove I didn't find it (when Dan returned).

of course if I had found it I would have ditched it in the way back and then stripped. :D

Does CBS cover the cost to replace the suits? If they take them from photo shoot to surviving I would hope they would do at least some reimbursement.

Well she's a sprinter used to running on a flat track, not a distance runner used to running cross country over hills. :) Her bio says she is still a professional athlete and trains to compete. Her USATF bio only has results for her through 2006, though.
