I thought the funniest moment was when Jeff said "Eliza with those eyes you can't hide an eye roll." (or something like that)

Jason did great in the challenge and I am glad he beat Ozzie. I liked Ozzie but his ego is just too much. It is interesting that James is sitting back and playing cool. Eating the bats was pretty neat!

Jason and Eliza arguing about the fake idol. OMG. He was just so totally not believing that it was a fake. It was funny.

I think you mean exfoliant. Agent Orange is a defoliant.

On an unrelated note. I'm an Ozzy fan, because of his dominance in physical events, but I agree his head is getting too big. He's got a major target on his back now. I hope he is smart enough to play the idol instead of being yet another competitor who gets voted out while holding it.

Bats?!? at a merge feast!?! Good for you James....LOL

That was a great comment from Jeff about Eliza's eyes. That and his comment about using the past tense.....he really does help to make that show what it is.

And when he said something like "Well, THAT would suck!" At first I thought he was being cruel, but then I realized he is so stupid it still didn't occur to him that it could be a fake, and he was probably just saying "That would suck if it were true; good thing it's not."

He kinda reminds me of the old Julie Brown song. "He's so stupid, you know what he said? Well, I forgot what he said, because it was so stupid!"

I thought Eliza and Jason could have made much more of the situation than just "I'll play it and hope it's real."

First -- I would have had Eliza go to Ozzy before TC and explain we have the hidden immunity idol you planted, so we know you have the real thing. If you want to keep it quiet so you can play it when it will be most effective AND not incur the target it makes you when people know you have it, keep me on the island. If I get voted out, I'll make sure everyone knows you have it before I get my torch doused."

Second -- when Jeff says "It's time to vote," have Eliza say "Jeff -- can I say something? Jason's my friend, he's been to exile, he might have found the hidden immunity idol and he might have given it to me. If all 8 of you want to potentially throw away your votes by voting for me and let Jason and I decide who goes home, go for it. If you want to play it safe and vote for someone you know doesn't have the idol, that's probably a smarter choice." If Probst makes 'em vote after that, who knows what happens with whispering, etc. If, as is more likely, Probst opens things up for further discussion because it probably makes for a better episode, you at least get a chance to make your case. Maybe you even bring out the wrapped up idol and show it around. What's the risk? If you're fairly certain it's a dummy idol, you're going home anyway. Maybe it forces Ozzy to admit he's got the real idol. Worth stirring the pot.

I loved it that Jason smoked Ozzie in the challenge - a challenge that Ozz would have normally dominated. And Jason also single handedly won that other challenge (where Eric took a dive into the dock).

I see some interesting alpha male interactions coming to TV near you!

Eliza "that's not the idol, you idiot"

    Jason " that's a bummer"

    too funny!!

also, if Eliza were smarter, she would've told Jason "yes, that is the II. don't give it to me, you keep it so you can use it later. Let me use the immunity necklace since that gets given back before the next TC".

What was up with jason even thinking about giving her the Idol? Did he think about the next week at all? Not a smart play helping the one player that is on the outs with everyone.

somehow after she said it, i wondered why ozzy said right away that he has it.

Didnt one tribe win a 'bed and bath' package before? So it would have been real stuff not just sand on her face maybe?

Nice seeing amanda and parv getting along so well. Getting ME into an alliance without me knowing :) funny

i thought liz would have had the challenge in the bag since her face was so tiny and up thru the bars.

Anyone think they inserted ozzys comment about the 'kid thinking he's better than me' just because they knew ozzy lost the challenge in the end? :) Good work.

The bugs etc crawling all over that feast disgusted me...before the got to it they zoomed up close..i cant believe they dont get sick eating that way.

Oh yeah! Even had to rewind and watch some parts again!

"It's an f@#$'ing stick" They even blurred her mouth on that one:D

Looks that way, but makes me wonder if maybe Amanda and Ozzy aren't putting on an act? Maybe they think that they'll have to get rid of the other Favs and need to keep a couple of fans on their side? I wonder that only because Amanda didn't try really hard to get rid of speaker girl. She made a couple of catty comments, but then never seemed to do anything to get her voted out. Don't know, but seems that Ozzy and Amanda are both too devious for this to be what it seems.

For that reason, I want to see Amanda stick around.
That was hilarious. Ozzie is smug and arrogant, but that was very funny.
No kidding. I kept saying that he must not have thought it was real, because if he really thought it was real, he was stupid not to save it for himself. What good is it to him to keep Eliza around for one more week?
That's the thing I hate about Survivor editing. Because of that, and the scene about Jason and Eliza discussing him giving her the II if he won, we already knew that Jason was going to win the challenge. I wish they wouldn't telegraph things like that.

I don't think the show has ever kept any strategy of an alliance secret from the audience. For that reason, I don't think this is the case. I simply think that Amanda realized that all the inertia was going toward Eliza at this time, and it would have thrown up all kinds of red flags if she went against that and tried to get Alexis kicked out. She was smart to just hang back, let everyone vote out Eliza, and then maybe she can work something next week when there isn't such a clear-cut candidate for Loser Lodge.

If she did that nothing would have changed. Ozzie would have to say he has the idol so vote of Eliza. Eliza would have been voted out and Ozzie would have been exposed as having the idol. Same thing that happened last night.

Remember he did express doubts about its authenticity when he first found it, but somehow apparently convinced himself that it was real and never looked back.

"Eliza: What you didn’t see was that the conversation with Jason on the beach was five minutes before we left for Tribal Council. Had that happened earlier – you saw me bugging him, that was a lot earlier and Jason gave it to me later in the day. Had I seen it earlier, I would have known Ozzy had the real one and would have brought the stick to Cirie and said Ozzy has the hidden immunity idol.

Cirie was my closest friend left. [I would have said] tonight’s the night to blindside him. I’ll play it up like I’m going and you guys vote with me. We wouldn’t have been able to tell Amanda or Erik or James. Cirie later told me says she would have been able to pull in Parvati, Natalie, Alexis, and the six of us would have blindsided him. I wish I’d seen it sooner so I could have tried to play that card."
