Not a lot of people in Montana. I imagine it would be easier to be a beauty pageant winner from there, than from, say, California or Texas...

Ashley reminds me of another woman I didn't find attractive, Anna Nicole.

Huh? again. I would imagine the location won't really be that different than any other version of Survivor, except that it will probably be near a river (like Survivor: Outback) rather than on a beach. I'm sure it will still be a remote location. I don't get where you're going with the Fear Factor comment.

At least with Ashley you don't have to wait until after the season to see if someone will pose for Playboy.

Sadly Survivor (for us at home) became too unbearable to watch 2-3 years ago.

Since it's taking place in China, will the season be available on bootleg DVDs there before it airs here? :p

I hope the other 8 people have more people in the 30s and 40s. 1 of each right now. Heck go crazy and put someone 50 in there.

One of our guilty pleasures as well. Every season my Wife will claim not to interested but then get reeled in.

The official CBS site is up: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor15/.

The individual bios include birth dates. "Frosti" is 20, and is described as the youngest Survivor contestant ever.

On the older side, "Chicken" (a farmer from Virginia; sound familiar?) is 47. And that's it for older folks; everybody else is under 40, with most under 30.

I think (from the previews) that it is in a wilderness area of China.

I think it would be funnier to have it all in a Beijing luxery hotel.

I only watched the first season of Survivor but I think I'll be tuning in again this year. Partly because I did like the show when I watched (don't know why I stopped watching) and I really haven't been a fan of Thursday night shows so this will give me at least one show to record that night.

From watching a TVGuide Channel Preview, I am happy they are going back to basics. No Exile Island, only 16 contestants, back to the original formula.

I haven't watched this show in a couple of seasons, because it conflicted with other shows. But now that I have 3 tuners available, I will start it up again... I used to really like it. :)

    Is this show in HD?
