When does the new season premier?

I have to admit, my wife and I are torn about whether or not to watch this season with our kids. Last season was the first time they ever watched Survivor, and they absolutely loved it. We're just concerned about the whole Brains, Beauty, Brawns thing. There will be a ton of comments made where people are judging other players and stereotyping them based on these attributes. It's probably not the best thing to expose 10-year-olds to.

Survivor: Cagayan premieres with a two-hour episode on Feb. 26 at 8pm on CBS.

And they will be commenting on their labels:

"Probst says part of the fun of the season comes from seeing how the players will react to the labels they are given"

Maybe you should put them in their bubbles for the hour.

Looking at the ages of the players in the different groups is interesting.

I'm very happy to have no returning players. Not so happy that RI returns.

I agree on RI. When you are voted out that needs to be your final part in the game.

I like the final 3 only in that it keeps someone from bringing in a guaranteed loser to the finals. That said, it is interesting how a final 3 hasn't been the competitive change I would've expected. The winner runs away with it anyways.

This is an insightful and much appreciated response.

This is just snarky and rude.

The thing I enjoyed about a final 2 is that it pretty much required somebody to turn on their "buddy" so that they could drag the "loser" with them.

Or make the Colby mistake. I've heard it put as "He hated Kieth so much that he gave up $900,000 to make sure Kieth didn't get $100,000."

Yeah, I have no problem with RI either--I know that's the minority opinion here.

My kids (7 and 10) love to watch the challenges and the vote at the end. They could care less about all the drama in between. Tivo is great for skipping over all of that.
