Couldn't find a thread, but if one already exists please link and I can get this one locked.

I usually like the tribe swaps and this one was ok. I can't believe that Karishma is still around. She definitely cost her new tribe any kind of chance at the immunity challenge. And Applebees is her favorite restaurant? Whoa, that's even worse than Olive Garden IMHO.

I didn't miss the trip to IOTI and didn't even realize they didn't go until TC when Rob and Sandra were shown.

Man way too much love for Applebees, it's 3rd rate crap bar food.

I'm also surprised they kept Karishma she is a total Anchor.

They kept her for her product promotion abilities.

I've watch Survivor religiously since the start, but if this product pushing becomes a thing, I might have to be out.

They used to have a lot more product placement stuff...

Dalton's reviews are hard to read sometimes. We get the joke, but it goes on and on and on.

I laughed when Jeff kept calling out Karishma for her having problems in the challenge, to the point that she yelled back at him. Good stuff.

I hate Applebees, but if I hadn't eaten real food for weeks, it might be my favorite restaurant too.

But they have had this sponsored stuff before. I think Outback was there a few times (and on Big Brother).

And I seem to remember some company (Sprint?) sponsoring video calls home...

To me, if product placement cuts back on actual commercials, it's ok. Not sure that it does, though. ;)

Definitely. The product placement these days is not anywhere near what it was in the first several seasons. GM cars, Home Depot building kits, coffee makers in powered stumps, Sprint video messages from loved ones, Jack and Jill outdoor movie, etc. If they have one or two minor things like this each season, that doesn't bother me one bit. If it helps them keep the show on the air, I say more power to them.

Hell, they made them all watch Jack and Jill (Adam Sandler) a few years ago.

Applebees is smart. Having people who haven't eaten for so long makes for quite an image of them going bonkers over your crappy food. I might too, if I were that hungry. Better than a real commercial.

I'm sure they were all hyping the food to get airtime...

They will go to tribal every week until they vote her out. As a result, the few left will be voted out by the tribe after merge. "We can always vote her out later" is a TERRIBLE strategy that is decimating the tribe.

If you haven't watched your Tivo'd episode yet then be aware that "next week on survivor" spoils more than desired. Please be careful to make sure to skip next weeks previews.

Tom instead of Karishma?! These people are insane. "We love Tribal! Let's make sure we come back as often as we possibly can!"

Still liking Elaine and liking Kellee more and more.

I'm with Boston Rob, that tribe will lose every elimination and hobble to the merge. Carrying the "easy vote" after all these losses is just plain dumb.

I have gone 4+ days with no food, only water, several times and I don't think that 12 days on the Survivor diet would be enough to get me to hysterics for Applebees. We have one in my little town and I have only been maybe 3 times in the 20 years I've lived here and I was disappointed each time.

Heh, me too. I remember Tom's exit plug (is he really the first Canadian Survivor?) but that is it.
