Great news! Maybe the most underrated sitcom on TV. It's consistently funny and if you ever worked in retail it often hits home.

Loved that Glenn stole Garret's one story about Jerry for his Best Man speech so he just completely made up a story about a rodeo. All Sandra asks Jerry is "Where did you get sunglasses?" and says "At a rodeo I guess" :D :D

Uh oh. America Ferrera is leaving after this season, won't be around for season 6.

America Ferrera leaving 'Superstore' - CNN

    Code:
The actress, who is the show's lead and an executive producer, will be leaving the comedy at the end of the current season, NBC announced on Friday.

In her statement, Ferrera added: "As I start the next chapter for my family and career, I wish only the best, and much continued success, to my beloved 'Superstore' family."

The next chapter for "Superstore," however, is unclear.

NBC did not speak to how Ferrera's exit would be addressed on screen.

Her character has been less interesting as manager. I think it could still be fine without her.

Sadly, I can't disagree. I like her as an actress and she was a good straight person among all of the wackos but yes, she's pretty boring now.

I can’t disagree about the direction her character has gone, either. But she will definitely be missed in a big way. Probably the biggest name when the show started and is an even bigger name now. Not to mention I don’t think there’s been a departure by any main character until now. And it happens to be probably the most main character of the main characters.

This is one of my favorite shows among those around now. Hopefully they’ll be able to successfully transition and keep it going a little bit longer.

I loved the bit where Jerry came into the store in the "Crabby" shirt and "yelled" at Jonah and told him he should never make Sandra do that again or he'll hate it.

Be interesting to see where the show goes without her. Surely theyre going to introduce someone to replace her. Cant see them hanging the reigns back to Glenn or giving then to Dina.

You mean "reins". Or possibly "reign", singular, if you're attempting word-play.

I think the show can move on without her. I agree she was better as the store peon than the boss. She was like Alex from Taxi, where everyone around her aspired to a different career while she was just a retail worker. But anyway, my son thought perhaps Jonah becomes the manager, but I think it might be more fun to bring in someone different. Perhaps the old DM who everyone thought quit.

Was that Brett Hull using The Stanley Cup as a shopping cart at 0:05 with 'Gloria' playing on the store speaker? Probably him but I couldn't tell for sure. It was another killer visual snippet that put me on the floor.

No, it was one the "Keepers of the Cup" who accompany it wherever it goes.

At first, I was confused by the random appearance by the Cup, but then I remembered that the show is supposed to be set in St Louis.

Yeah, the white gloves made me start to think that. That guy looked too kempt and not fat enough to be Hull.

Has Brett Hull gotten very fat? I know his dad Bobby has looked fat and disheveled the couple of times I've seen him recently.

That scene with cup was awesome. I immediately remembered that the show is set in St. Louis and it makes so much sense that it might be there. When the NJ Devils won the cup, they actually brought it to a local Sears store (which is where I first saw it...and I'm not a Devils fan.)

Here's Hull at the All Star Game in January...

He's not in playing shape anymore, but he's probably still in better shape than your average 55 year-old.
