    Hello,
Will supersizing a 2TB HDD (on a 658000) leave the image and recordings intact? I previously copied the image from the factory 1TB HDD and expanded it using WinMFS. The upgrade has been working flawlessly; but I chose not to do the supersize at the time of the upgrade. Would like to go back and increase the space to the 318 HD hours, but need to preserve my recordings.

    Supersizing can be done anytime.

Scott, I thought that was the case; thanks for confirming it for me. I have successfully supersized my 2TB HDD -> 318 hrs, and my recordings are intact. Tim

There is space on the HDD reserved for TiVo "ads". Under WinMFS there is a command to turn on "supersize". This reduces the ad space and increases the Series 3 2TB HDD recording space from 300 to 318 hours. I believe the 1TB HDD comes from TiVo with the recording space already supersized at 157 hours.
