Well that wasn't what I expected entirely. There were some funny moments, the entire thing at the diner was gold. Bitches. But wow way to overdo the parallels with Ed/Harry and Sam/Dean. And they break up at the end? And Ed teary eyed as they drive off? And Harry talking about empty rocking chairs? F YOU SHOW.

I swear I think I turn into an emotional teenager when I watch this or talk about this show.

I did really enjoy the Sam and Dean moment about them pretending to be Superman and Batman when they were kids. The fondness in both their faces talking about it. Dean rode Sam to the ER on his handlebars. awwwww brothers. Can we get more of those moments please? I'm running on fumes with the brother angst this season. It's never ending and I really really need it to.

The deputy being in on the "Scream thing" was at least a bit of a surprise. And I did laugh when he managed to sneak up behind the guys and taser them. I mean.... wtf. Ha! Every week either tied up, knocked out, bloody and beaten or all of the above.

That better not be the last of the Ghostfacers. They can't just leave them like that right?

I love how Supernatural can be so heavy-handed with the symmetry of characters like that and still get away with it.

Have Sam and/or Dean ever killed a non-supernatural human? I can't remember any, but there's been, what, 200 shows now? And has there been a show where there were no supernatural characters involved? This was basically just a regular Scooby-Doo pull-off-the-mask mystery. "And we would have gotten away with it had it not been for the Ghostfacers and that darn Sam & Dean!"

Not exactly Scooby-Doo type but the only other non Monster/Supernatural beings they've dealt with were in The Benders and Family Remains that I know of and Sam did kill one of them in The Benders in the barn fight and I don't believe they killed anyone in Family Remains. Swap Meat had not exactly monsters but the kids were using witchcraft (even though I don't consider them witches) so I guess that wouldn't count.

And since they've been officially renewed for Season 10, the 200th show will be 10x05 I believe. :)

It is a rarity to see the Winchesters not deal with monsters and wind up killing ordinary (although psychotic) humans though.

Yes, it was a tad ham fisted but I liked the parallel of the Ghostfacers co-dependency with the Winchesters and Harry being terrified of being alone contrasted with Dean's.

The Ghostfacers' conflict does cause Dean and Sam to examine their own but won't be (and shouldn't be) the cause of their patching things up though.

Agreed that the diner scene was classic.

I could have sworn the deputy had black eyes when he tazed Sam and Dean but apparently I'm wrong.

I thought this was a really bad, anvil heavy episode.

I thought this was just awful, but I can get over it because it's not typical.

Haha! No I didn't. I have no need for silly things like that. My cats will just bat them around the house. Not a nicknack person. :)

Wow, who'd have thought you would be so mean to your cats as to deny them such awesome entertainment! ;)
