Yeah, I already have one Prime. I don’t think they’re for sale anymore so I guess I’d need to go the used route.

So, my ticket was closed, with no contact or explanation. Not even an update in the ticket. Just simply closed!?! I did however receive an automated email survey asking me how satisfied I was with their service! I told them they did not respect their customers. The final straw for me. I am now looking for better alternatives, including just simply embracing decentralized streaming apps. The end of TiVo is nigh.

I'm probably exaggerating here, but it's quicker to delete a support e-mail than to deal with a person complaining over the phone, if you know what I mean. I doubt they do that, but, you know.

I'm saying it might be more worthwhile to complain to a live person and maybe escalate to a supervisor.

    I'm on TE3. I don't plan on touching Hydra.

Would your suggestion work on copy-protected shows, such as from HBO, if it's back to the original TiVo?

    Sorry, I should have said--only for non-copy-protected shows. :(

I guess it comes down to what ever makes you happy... I don't miss T3 and T4 is just fine for me.
