Its just started showing here in the UK, and although it only ran for the one season is it still worth watching? I love the West Wing, so I'm hoping this will be very similar.

it was OK, so I would not say avoid it. but since it only ran a season and got cancelled, I would not go out of my way to watch it.

You will probably like it, but be disappointed since there's no conclusion. I still say watch if you have the time.

It's not really similar to WW, but it is worth watching, IMHO.

So if you were, say, stuck at work on 4 nightshifts this week, you'd give it a go? ;)

Just don't ask if Allison Janney and C.J. Cregg can coexist on the same fictional TV show.

    :D

FTR, I'd watch it again. I say go for it.

    Might as...
While it wasn't anything spectacular, it still was a decent show.

Record the season and save it for when your other viewing options are exhausted. :)

I found the style and dialog to be too pretentious to continue watching it after the first 3 episodes or so. Some people loved it, some hated it, most thought it was of average quality.

I liked Studio 60, and will be picking up the DVDs when they come out. And there was enough cancellation notice that you aren't left hanging by any story lines.

Also, Burn Notice is great. I'm a few episodes behind, but I really enjoy Jeffrey Donovan's work.

Watch one episode and decide. The first episode was among the better ones, so you'll have a pretty good idea of what the show is like from it.

I wouldn't say there is no conclusion. I don't want to spoiler anything, so I will leave it at saying that plot lines are brought to some kind of conclusion and there isn't a huge honking cliff hanger or anything.

I'd go ahead and watch it.

I liked it, and, unfortunately it got a lot better after they announced its cancellation. Well worth watching especially the last few eps.

I agree. I thought the final 3-ep arc was very strong... and wrapped many of the oustanding plotlines up nicely.

Burn Notice is quite fun - an excellent summer show, like Eureka.

Dexter is much, much better than studio 60, if you are actually forced to choose between the two. A no brainer for me.

Sure, watch it. It was good enough to watch for a while, but I stopped about halfway through the season.

Dexter is many, many orders of magnitude better.

Actually, it was whether Bradley Whitford and Danny Tripp can both exist on the same show. :D
