stuck on 14.7 and can't connect with iOS remote app

    all this talk of 20.2 got me really excited.
    when i started looking in to things more i noticed i was on 14.7 and the update before 20.2 was 14.9 about a month ago.

    i also noticed that my iPhone app and iPad app were not connecting to my two premieres correctly. it will see both dvr's on the local network, attempt to connect and then come up with an error that it lost connection.

    i hard rebooted both of them. i forced connecting to tivo service….
    nothing helped…

    i feel like app not working and tivos not updating are related.
    maybe something to do with my network?

    i have verizon fios in brooklyn. i am using their modem/router combo.
    maybe verizon closed a port on my router that i need?
    even though hulu plus works on tivo, and nightly updates work etc ?

    any feedback would be appreciated.

    Do you show a pending restart on the Connect to network screen?

    I would call TiVo Support and see what they have to say.

    they are escalating it to engineering. o boy.
    might take a more then a week to resolve.

    they said something about the update not mapping correctly to my tivo's.
