    Got it, thanks!
    I'll try that next.

I have to check it first. Not sure the old clone is still good. Thanks!

Ha, I guess I misunderstood "full tenet to get shell". My Tivo HD is not hacked.
But that explains why I can only use IRCODE commands on port 31339. Thanks!

I already replaced the power supply on this Tivo HD a few years ago.

I did a KS 57 a few day ago, I did get the green screen, but it didn't last 3 hours.
    Still error S03 after that.
I tried a KS 58 today, but it doesn't even get to the green screen, it goes back to guided setup. Maybe because I already did a KS 57?

ks 57 only briefly solved my problem. I'm going to start a new thread, my problem isn't exactly the same.

edited to add Tivo changed my boxes name to an old name and removed my MAK key. I changed the name back on tivo.com and after a couple connections both were fixed BUT I started getting s03 during my daily call. I re-ran guided setup and got s03. Running ks 57 temporarily solved the problem. I was able to complete GS and force a second connection to populate my guide data. Subsequent connections failed. ks 58 wouldn't run, I suspect it's deprecated.
I deleted all guide data. So far so good.

I suspect you need a new drive.

The key to the guided setup is getting past the first connection. Stuck in first connection is probably forever (without starting fresh with a new image). Once you get to the second connection even if getting S03 should be ok though could take a few days. Your first drive if you want to use (though the drive itself might be bad) will probably lose all recordings. Your old clone is probably the only way to save recordings, assuming there are some on the clone. Again key with S3s, if you are going to run guided setup or clear and delete everything make SURE it connects FIRST. AND let it run a few days before the GS or C+D as even though a connection completes and shows 100% loaded it is really not, still updates in the background for a day or more. Just make sure no S03s and make sure it connects a few times and shows the full 12 days of program info before trying C+D or GS.

    Update:
I found my old clone and installed it in my Tivo HD.
Powered up and started OK. My old recordings were still in there.
I did a Clear Program info and To Do List. That took way more than 1 hour.
Then I changed the Channels from Cable to Antenna only, and scanned the channels I receive.
I updated my network settings, and started a connection.
It took a very long time, even though I didn't have cable channels anymore. It turned out that it performed a service update (the clone was so old that it was not a v11.0n yet).
    Everything is working fine now!
    Thanks to everyone who helped.
