No one has started a thread yet?
I thought the episode was the most interesting for the diplomatic screwups and assumptions made by Stargate Command and Homeworld Security. The Rush thing went on too long.

I hope the Ghosts in the Machine subplot isn't over already. That has/had so much potential!

They'll probably be back for the final when somebody has to pull something miraculous out of their armpit.

A third of the episode was wasted on the "ghosts" to me. They could have invented a problem and quarantined them in about five minutes and I'd have been satisfied. The Rush/Mandy subplot went way too long.

I liked the "ghost" plot. Interesting that they projected the antagonism of Rush vs. Eli on Mandy vs. Ginn. The diplomacy/takeover plot was doomed from the start. No one is going to risk their planet to help out a few people on the other side of the universe. I don't care how smart Rodney thinks he is. He destroyed a universe in Atlantis.

Too bad the first season wasn't like the last few episodes. It may not have been cancelled.

Some good one-liners in this one.

    "I'm up here, McKay." :D

"Because for all practical purposes, I'm from the future."

Interesting use of trickery with the stones, but why didn't the Langarans temporarily drop back into their own bodies when Ginn dropped Destiny out of FTL?

So, the human consciousness is only about 900TB? ;)

Ew, Nick. Isn't Amanda Jones young enough to be your daughter? Don't slurp on her like that. Even in sim-land.

Hey, look at that, the Langoliers have the same uniforms as the Genii. What are the odds?

    "Sheppard's right."

McKay really livened up this episode! Can we keep him? How great was it to see some real energy portrayed by a character and to actually visit a new planet with a Stargate. McKay and Eli arguing some technical point had to be a dream come true for David Blue.

I'm sad to see this show gone. I've liked it from the beginning, and even more so these last episodes. I never watched the other Stargates, so I'm not familiar with any of the links or references from previous shows. This one stood alone just fine for me.

How many more episodes are there until the finale?

ETA: According to TV.com only three episodes left.

Why is this an "Ew"? Seems like it'd be two thumbs up to me. She pursued him.

That left me very frustrated. They FINALLY got a plot device that could move things along and they waste an entire ep discarding it!

and the infection plot seems to have been a time-filler as well

I love this show. It's the only one I watch in the middle of the week instead of waiting till Friday night. I wish there was a way it would come back.

Hey, and we now know Lt. Boobs' first name: Vanessa (I think...I don't really remember for sure...I was distracted at the time!) :D

LOL yeah. Most tank tops don't cause a stir. Only the ones she wears.

I am tired of this obsession with and calling the character Lt. Boobs. I guess women are not human beings but only their secondary sexual characteristics.
