I actually saw this episode a year or so ago for some strange reason. I'm drawing a blank on a lot of it, although I do seem to remember Okona being a decent character.

I do wish they would have either dropped the "Data tries to learn comedy" stuff, or just brought in an actor for the comedian. Bringing in a washed up Joe Piscopo stunk.

I haven't seen this one in years and I didn't recall it being so bad. The stuff with Okona and the two planets didn't work at all.

The stuff with Data trying to discover funny had potential but fell flat. I think doom is right that perhaps a better actor could have helped.

What a disappointment right after watching "Elementary, Dear Data".

The best thing about this one? They were real and spectacular. :)

She didn't even get a billed credit! She didn't look too different than she did on Lois & Clark, but Billy Campbell?

It's a shame Joe Piscopo couldn't play off Whoopi, although Guinan wasn't exactly a jokester. Bad, bad, bad. :)
