I switched to an episode of Blue Bloods, and it reverts to stereo. When I switch back to Strange Angel, it's 5.1 again.

Not all service release all episodes at once for bingeing. So you'd have to time your switch for after all episodes had aired.

Heh. The weird thing is, it's more or less a true story.

I think I agree with this guy on Youtube. Picard could be some sort of ambassador and affects change on a larger scale. If this doesn't post correctly, you can start at the 4 minute mark to hear his comments.

Well, maybe that time has come. Looks like they are now advertising a $5.99 price point for the CBS AA Channel. I haven't tried to click through or anything yet but I am assuming that this price point would involve at least some ads.......

Can someone confirm what the primary differences are with using AA via the Amazon Channel versus the CBS app?

As noted above, audio is a factor for me. Also, any performance differences? etc.

I mean, at it's core, more Trek (TNG) is better than less Trek. And having Sir Patrick on in whatever capacity he provides is a good thing. I am sure the producers will allude to canon and past story lines whenever they can to further the stories they want to tell this time around. I'm just looking forward to it. The wait will seem like forever. Anyone have a wormhole or a Q I can borrow.......

It will be a neat way to check in on all the old characters I think. I really hope they do this well.

That kind of thinking got us Voyager & Enterprise and a content-less TV network that shut down after 12 years.

Well, maybe they weren’t excellent Trek, but not total suck fests.

I mean, they did have some visual delights.

Tight catsuits and decontaminant gel scenes only go so far. But I do remember them melting a Tholian once. That was special.

I liked the Storm Front eps. and the other time traveling shows on Enterprise and Voyager.

And a Vulcan-like emotionally-challenged Borg can go a long way with me.

Funny--I like "Enterprise" as much as or more than the original series, and on the top of the "Star Trek" pile. Yep, it had lesser-clothing at times, but then, how many times was William Shatner shirtless and were there lesser-clad aliens?

I don't think that is a widely shared opinion, but you are certainly entitled to it. People have the right to make mistakes, after all.

I can just imagine the first time Picard encounters one of the new Klingons ... "What the f*** are you supposed to be?" :D

At about 1:15 is when Kurtzman says he'd like to bring out a good friend to talk about the series (w/o naming him).
