    No thread yet?

I was afraid this was going to be another ep w/low plot density but at least it really picked up at the end. I didn't think the meditation sequence was where Narek would try to kill Soji.

I did like Picard's wandering on the cube w/flashbacks and terror then how he finally got reacquainted with Hugh. I wonder if we'll see Hugh beyond the next ep.

Until I checked Memory Alpha (The Impossible Box (episode)), I totally didn't recall Sikarian. I might not've watched that Voyager episode. If I did, I totally forgot about it.

i don't remember the Sikarians either but I do vaguely remember an episode where they tried to get an alien technology to return home but it failed which does match the Sikarian story.

I liked the mini cliffhanger with Elnor. Logically you know how a plot element (trope?) like that works, of course Elnor will defeat the Romulans and manage to escape and return to the La Sirena but a sword against Romulan phasers? That only works if the Romulans have been taking shooting lessons from the Storm Troopers!

I've been thinking lately, this series is almost a cross between Star Trek and House of Cards. Space duplicity and machinations.

I've gotta say, those pictures are some serious spoilers! If it were me, I would start an EP7 thread to discuss them; and I wish I hadn't clicked on the link (but I have nobody to blame but myself alone).

Why is a link to E7 pics in a E6 thread? Can’t discuss it here, so what’s the point?

Unless you're living under a rock, you should know who's in those photos.

Not the point. If the link is for E7 photos, there is no point in posting in an E6 Thread.

I don't know...he provided a link to the article, along with a warning as to what's there. Seems to me people can make up their own minds whether or not they want to go look at the pictures...it's not like there are any spoilers in this thread, even tagged.

So it's a Rubik's cube that contains a thalaron radiation generator.
Why wouldn't Narek think that an activated synthetic couldn't get out of that room?

Maybe he WANTED her to get out? He knows about activation, so he knew she'd activate. I think it's the classic "but I TRIED to kill her!"

There a goofy rules at Rules for Posting to the TV Talk Area about the timing of starting threads. I got a demerit about that once, I believe from someone in this thread now.

So, either I break/bend the rule about starting an ep 7 thread early or I post them here or another general ST: P thread...

I can start an ep 7 thread tonight if someone doesn't beat me to it.
Indeed. If you've seen all the Picard trailers, then there's nothing or next to nothing spoiled in those photos.

Perhaps but you'd think that a hardened and top Zhat Vash operative wouldn't even have emotional considerations.

Well, OBVIOUSLY he is! Because he said he isn't. And, as he himself admitted, that's EXACTLY what he would say if he was!

It's certainly been very strongly implied, especially in his conversations with Narissa.
Even Hugh referred to him as a "Romulan Spy".
