So, he was a Manchurian candidate type of plant?
Okay, grasping it better. Since this “Tyler” was originally Voq, do we know what happened to the real Tyler?
Voq mind was overlayed over Tylers...
I thought Tyler’s mind was overlaid over Voq’s. In theory, there could be a real Tyler out there, but I would think the Klingons would’ve killed him as part of their plan.
That seemed to be the way they explained it, although it makes no sense (how do you convert the DNA in every cell of a Klingon body into human DNA?). But it was confusing...
You would think that that kind of procedure would be accomplished by gene splicing chromosomal plasmids from one host into the recipient’s DNA.
Of course, I’m no Klingon physician.
Klingons apparently do not believe in anesthesia.
Please... anesthesia is for the weak.
No honor without pain!
If this was true, then why did they do all the surgery? They talked about shortening his bones and changing other physical attributes.
If this was true, then what is "tyler" now? He would be Voq's body (heavily modified) with tyler's mind, right? Also, I can suspend a bunch of disbelief, but I find it hard to believe that they did all that with surgery. Why couldn't they just have a magic box.
I look at it like they gave Voq schizophrenia, Tyler's mind was placed as the dominate personality and Voq's mind was hidden away waiting to be activated. I think now they gave Voq the ability to access both minds at the same time and he chooses to be Tyler.
That seems right.
