    Wow, nice.

Glad it's back and the boys are home. Can't wait for Hale to get his.

Ronnie from the Strike Force! That makes two members now.

And the A.D.A. was the preacher from Deadwood, Ray McKinnon, and is partners with Walton Goggins, another Shield alumni, in Ginny Mule Pictures. Of course, the series creator, Kurt Sutter, who plays Otto, also wrote for The Shield, so I'm liking the nepotism.

Haven't watched yet, but can't wait to warm up the DVR. Finally, in this banal time of reruns and mindless game shows/"reality" TV, a show that will stand up with the best!

Looking forward to another excellent season.

Great to have SOA back. So sick of summer reruns.

Does anyone else have a problem understanding the dialog of this show? Last year I figured most of the problem was the Irish accents, so I turned on closed captioning when I watched.

I ended up doing the same last night, because I just could not understand the dialog.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I do not have this problem with any other show (other then The Wire, which I always watched with CC).

    Right there with you.

I jack up the volume and rewind over and over. Still can't make out pieces of dialog. It's starting to bug me.

Great premiere. Jax trying to go straight will be very very interesting.

Did that deep cover FBI agent get killed at the end?

I was wondering how they were going to work around the problem of having an undercover FBI agent know all their business.

I love that they solved that problem without even knowing it existed.

Yep, still having problems understanding some of the dialog. Not all of the time, but definitely for some of the characters with an accent and with Clay mumbling.

I agree, he's very creepy! And I couldn't believe how much smoke he could exhale. When he was standing under the window talking the smoke just kept coming and coming and coming out of him...maybe he's part dragon?

I love this show. So glad it's back and we're done with the stupid kidnapping story. I almost gave up on it last season, but glad I didn't. Looks like it will be back to the gang fighting and killing that I enjoyed the first couple of years!:D

Notice how the FBI's whole investigation rested on the Russians and that they planned on taking down SAMCRO and the Real IRA through them.

Not sure if there was a deeper meaning behind dumping the bodies by the construction site, other than to disassociate them from the reservation where the wedding was. It was probably a signal for Hale more than any attempt at directly complicating his efforts to build his new community there.

Last nights audio mix was "off".

I had to crank up the receiver to 30 to hear and understand, normally have it around 18-20.
Meaningless without proper context, but ya, it was a bit on the quiet side.

It must have just been at one of those frequencies us old guys can't hear.

I've been saying this right along - the voices are low-pitched to begin with, and the diction is HORRIBLE! These guys took lessons in mumbling, not acting!

Loved the episode! So glad it have it back!

Pretty intense scenes with the killing of the Russians! I loved how the three SAMCRO guys locked, loaded, and turned on the Russians standing behind them.

"I know, honey! Let's buy a house in that development where the corpses of all those mobbed-up Russians were dumped!"

"Sounds swell, sweetheart! Just the kind of place I've always dreamed of living!"

    :D
My receiver is usually in the 25-30 range. For this, I had it at 25.

I was giving it only a very small leash this season to get back on track. Glad to see they put me at ease in the first episode. This is the show I signed up for! I'm once again excited for next week!

I didn't see that coming either! I was trying to figure out why they were having Otto kill the guy in prison if they were doing business with his comrades. Duh. Should have seen it coming right then but didn't.
