Yeah, at first, I was going to accuse you of apostrophe abuse, but if it's a different show....
To me the most logical plot device would be for Jax to do it, classic son revenging the father.
I would put Gemma as a close second.
They started to once and then stopped.
In regards to the hit, I'm pretty sure I have the timeline right.
Jax Tara and the kids going up north
Hit is put on Tara
Gemma mentions to Clay that the 4 of them are together
Clay tells the Cartel about that, but they said they can't get in touch w/ the hitman
They can get in touch with the hitman, and tell them to ONLY kill Tara
So they abduct her as to not hit one of the kids
They were going to kill her after they got away.
A LOT less noise if you pickup someone like that and kill them somewhere else vs opening fire right there. (Obviously there was some gun fire from Jax in the end)
That is my take on what happened
I see Jax doing it and then somehow Sutter makes Jax vs. Opie the central conflict for the next couple of years.
I think the post-Clay conflict will be repairing the damage Clay has done to the Sons (internal tensions plus their dealings with the Irish, the Mayans, the cartels, etc.) and to their relationship with Charming (I still see Robinson as possibly turning into the new Unser, or at least starting down that road, as he realizes how important the Sons are to a peaceful Charming). And as for internal conflicts, at this point I think Clay's death will solve a LOT of that!
I don't really see the tension between Jax and Opie escalating to "central" status...unless one of them does something really stupid. They're too close for that. I think they're more the type to be really pissed off at each other...until somebody else gets in their way, then they team up to destroy their common enemy.
I missed that episode. Lots of sex you say?
He's thinking of Tigg and Jemma in Son's of Anarchy. They screw all the time. Tig in Sons of Anarchy just dreams a lot about having sex with Gemma.
Now YOU'RE the one who's talking about the wrong show! This is the Son's thread, not the Sons thread.
This thread has me cracking up.
This season has been a real letdown, not buying into much of it at all. Very sloppy writing, horrible casting and writing about this "rogue" US Attorney, new sheriff is lame, Juice story sucks and is not well fleshed out. Just a disappointment over all. Season 2 was disappointing too, but this is way worse.
All in all, exactly what I am NOT thinking.
Exactly, I think the only thing I'm not a big fan of is how "hippie" the US Attorney cop guy is, but that's IT!
If you don't enjoy this season, why the heck are you watching at all
He probably thought last season was the best.
He's certainly not watching the same show that we are!
Maybe it's more Son's vs. Sons confusion?
Sorry to upset the fanboys, but it just hasn't been well-written at all this season, typical arc of a lot of decent cable series.
Don't know why you need to use this term. The show's ratings this season says the majority of viewers are against you. You're entitled to your opinion, but don't call the rest of us fanboys just because we are enjoying the season while you're not.
I AM a fanboy. This is the best season so far, IMO.
See, I like what they did with Juice and the new Sheriff, it gave them a way to flesh out and develop the new guy that makes sense and not live him one dimensional. Same with Juice.
I'm starting to think that Tig will be central to whatever ends up happening to Clay. He's always been an important character, but this season it seems like Clay keeps shuffling him off to the side. I'll bet there is some resentment building and we know his feelings for Gemma.
