'Tis the season for Holy Crap Didn't See THAT Coming...

    Dead, or just mostly dead?

These past few episodes leading into the finalé have been like watching a nuclear explosion in slow motion.

Maybe I'm wrong but it looked like Opie hit Clay on the right side. Somehow I bet this is going to turn out like Juice and Clay will be mostly fine at the start of next weeks ep.

Yeah I don't see him dead. Yet. I thought Otto wouldn't go through with it. Bobby Elvis is done.

Well, two bullets to the chest, I don't care what side, he'd better not be mostly fine at the start of next week's ep!

I do think he has to die sooner rather than later. I wasn't expecting this soon, but it would certainly be the kind of bold move that this show isn't afraid to make. But if he lingers before he goes, he'd have the opportunity to mess things up even more. Which could be fun. :D

Man, I'd hate it if he survived to next year, though. That would just be...wrong.

Maybe he was wearing a vest under his vest. I certainly would be if I knew someone was gunning for me.

But I'd be disappointed if they did the Juice thing and he ends up ok.

I thought Gemma was going to show up and shoot Opie.

That was awesome! I have been waiting for that final scene!

Way to call Jax's bluff, Opie!

Yeah, I gotta call Kevlar on this one. We've seen them put the vests on before, so they have them.
It was good to have it happen, but without a head shot I'm not going to believe it till I see it.

My favorite line of the night was when Otto said that Bobby better start making his own list.

    I noticed that as well.

Next week's previews shows Jax yelling to someone to call an ambulance.

I was saying YES YES YES the last few seconds. :D

I don't understand why they can hold Bobby. All they have is a signed confession from a prisoner. He should be able to have due process, a phone call etc.

Well, he's not their only target. Perhaps they can hold him (certainly for at least 24 hours?) to prevent him from warning their other targets? I wonder if they can get special judicial permission under such circumstances to hold somebody for longer than usual before charging them?

Yeah they almost made it look as if Bobby was already in prison with Otto. But yes, I think they would hold him for 24 hours or whatever the law is so he can't call and warn the others.

The whole Irish baby thing was weird. I don't want to revisit that horrible story arc from last season in any way.

Actually, they made it look like he's in the same holding facility as Juice...

Yup, and I'm glad it's a pretty locked down cell so they don't see each other :D

It was a little hard to tell if they are really in adjacent cells (or even in the same building); there seemed to be a weird camera fade as it panned between the two cells. I think they're in different facilities, but they blended them together into one shot for artistic reasons.

I do think they're both in temporary holding, however, pending all hell breaking loose.

Shoot him again, Ope! Shoot him again!

I'm really getting sick and tired of Gemma manipulating stuff.

C'mon Tara, tell Jax that Clay threatened you and him and that he's behind your busted hand. Tell Jaxx about the letters, you idiot.

Did Jax steal a magic noiseless motorcycle or something? How'd he sneak up on Opie in the club house?

Clay had better not survive but if he must, at least let Opie bust his hands up with a hammer.
