Advertisements Sorry to hear that the most recent software upgrade caused your TiVo to give up. AFAIK, yours is the first on v9.4x, but upgrades are historically notorious for causing problems for some. (Usually only a few, but v9.3x caused more issues than normal.) You could give a couple of TiVo's built in diagnostic/repair programs called Kickstarts a try. Otherwise, it sounds like a new hard drive may be in your future. If the Kickstarts don't cut it a DIY hard drive upgrade using Instant Cake is probably the least expensive and your lifetime sub will continue intact.
