My search capabilities are not good so I need help.

I want to record all Olympic soccer games (women and men). So I would like a handy schedule for when games are going to be broadcast and on what channel.

You would think the NBC site would make that easy. You would be wrong!

Does anybody know of a site that has that info?

If we do have that, do you all then want to make this thread about Olympic soccer?

My tivo just added a new channel named NBCSOC (NBC Soccer) which seems to have guide data.

This is perfect. Thank you. I'm going to cut/paste it into a Word document and add the channel numbers for DirecTV next to the channel names.

Once I'm done, I'm happy to e-mail it to anyone who wants it.

DirecTV doesn't seem to have heard of this...will have to wait until I get home to see if I can find it in the guide...

I doubt this will be "seen" as a "local" channel by Comcast. We sub to locals only. so legally, we are only going to get whatever highlights are shown on the primary NBC telecast, if any.

    Now....um....I am off to reddit.....

Wow, creating an Olympics OnePass sure records LOTS of soccer games.. I seem to remember in past years, the guide data sometimes was out of date, so often I'd record even things I wasn't interested in, in case they ended up being the few events I did like.

Called DirecTV, they never even heard of this OSC channel...so I guess I'll be missing a few games

    The Japan/Nigeria game was CRAZY!

It's on channel 205-1. OBC (the basketball channel) is 205-2

Thanks Steve. I had OSC and OBC omitted from my favorites list.

On Charter it's just standard definition AND it requires a tuning adapter which I don't have (long story). The advantage just seems to be some obscure games that won't be on the main channels and are probably mostly of interest just to people with ties to those countries.

In a decision that is nothing but 100% madness, Comcast Xfinity isn't offering the OSC and OBC channels... THAT THEY ARE RUNNING.
