Guest judges are Christina Applegate and Lil C. Wow Cat looks great and she also said judges correctly!

Melanie and Twitch - Hip Hop by Napoleon and Tabitha - Not sure about this one. Sometimes I liked it and sometimes not as well. Overall I guess I will just say good.

Sasha and Kent - Contemporary by Tyce Diorio - Wow very nice. Both did great. I'm usually not a fan of Mr. Diorio's stuff but it was a very good routine.

Marko and Janette - Paso Doble by Dmitry Chaplin - Noticed a slight stumble by Marko at the beginning. Overall pretty good not great.

Ricky solo - 1-888-TEMPO-01 - I don't really like judging solos. It was alright.

Tadd and Ellenore - Jazz by Sonya Tayeh - Kind of an oddball piece. I just don't dig Sonya's routines. Cool Chandelier though.

Caitlynn solo - 1-888-TEMPO-02 - Pretty good solo.

Ricky and Jaimie - Contemporary by Dee Caspary - A pretty good performance. No broken stick that was used in the routine. Both danced it very well.

Tadd solo - 1-888-TEMPO-03 - I like solos like that. Freaky tricks.

    Sasha solo - 1-888-TEMPO-04 - I liked her solo.

Caitlynn and Pasha - Samba by Dmitry Chaplin - I thought she did pretty good. That twirl at the end looked a little odd but overall not bad.

Marko solo - 1-888-TEMPO-05 - Another good solo.

    Melanie solo - 1-888-TEMPO-06 - Cute solo.

Sasha and Ricky - Wacking by Kumari Suraj - I liked it. I think Sasha did better than Ricky but he did good himself.

Melanie and Tadd - Broadway by Spencer Liff - A very nice performance I liked it. Both did really good.

Caitlynn and Marko - Jazz by Sonya Tayeh - I thought they both did very good.

All of the dancers did very nicely tonight. However I think Caitlynn and Ricky go tomorrow. Sasha and Melanie are just too strong for the girls. Plus Tadd has the B-Boy thing going and people like Marko too. Sorry Ricky.

Is there any way we can vote Tyce D'Orio off the show?

I actually liked his one routine tonight. I usually can't stand his stuff.

It's a sign of just how sad some of the choreography is this season that I've liked some of Tyce's routines the best.

If I had my way, Tyce would get the boot on Broadway routines. Just let him do his other stuff.

On the other hand, if all of his routines were like the one we saw tonight, we'd get tired of that pretty quickly, too.

Love seeing Li'l C on the panel, but why can't we see his choreography, too?

(I'd still like to see Russell and Iveta in a Li'l C-choreographed piece, to answer the question "but can Iveta krump?")

Anybody tired of Melanie mugging for the camera when they praise her routines!
It's starting to turn me off from appreciating her.

Tonight was the first time I thought Ricky really performed. Technically he's always been excellent, but tonight I thought he finally showed up.

I never get the feeling that she is a phony. I think she just has a genuine joy for life. :D

At the point in the competition I give major bonus points for solos that do something different. I felt that Melanie's solo was the ONLY one to do that.

This season's winner is either going to be her or Sasha.
    I'm with Nigel.

The music in that first routine was horrible, so bad. I heard NappyTabs and Twitch and got excited, then they threw in the fairy tale theme and I thougth it would be even better. It bored me. The music totally took me out of it.

Sasha's solo was one of the best I've ever seen on this show - she actually danced a solid routine and didn't just do tricks. My wife and I both commented afterwards that we were waiting for her partner to come out about half way through because it felt like a well choreographed routine - for once. Usually it's just spins and tricks.

Overall, though, I thought Caitlynn was fantastic tonight. She and Marko were definitely the best tonight, in my opinion. That said, there's no way she makes it to the finals - the jidges salivate way too much about the other two girls. I don't get the Melanie love - she's good, technically, but I find her incredibly boring/annoying.

For the guys, Tadd is the most fun to watch.

Melanie may be a fine technician, but her work just doesn't speak to me. Of the three girls that are left, I like Sasha the best.

But for any of the most recent seasons, I can't help feeling that, no matter what Nigel says, the best kids from Seasons Four or Five (or earlier) could blow any of them off the stage.

So I didn't vote last night.

Once again, I'm close to being happy that the season is almost over.

Very disappointing because I used to really like this show. :(

    Edited to add:

One of the judges said -- was it last night, or last week -- that Caitlynn had had her 'moment'.

With any of the dancers whom the judges really like but that just don't connect with me, I'm always on the lookout for the Moment. The routine where the dancer comes alive for me, and I finally get what everybody has been talking about. The routine where I can say, "You don't like [dancer X] -- but did you see [this routine]? You have to." The Must-See Moment.

In season five, there was Kayla Radomski. The judges loved her, and I said -- meh. Until the Bollywood group number with the top girls. That was the breakout moment for me, where she became not just the technically good girl dancer that the judges liked, but someone I really enjoyed watching.

I watch the show for those Moments. And Melanie is one of those dancers where, I don't know if the Moment will ever come.

man .. they waste Janette even when she's an all star. All through her season she didn't get to do her style (Salsa) or even contemporary and now they make her do a Paso Doble.
