    Red Flag commercial
    All My Children wrap party
WDHX Channel 19 Eye on Buffalo

    Who's On Top?
    Top Gun DVD commercial
    Parenting Skills Dinner
    Radiohead Performs
    Angles in the Trenches

Pretty good show, coulda been worse. The cold open was floundering for a bit there but from Keenan to the end I thought it was a strong finish.

The only other standout for me was the Top Gun DVD commercial, that was awesome.

Weekend Update was good, as usual. Alec Baldwin was funny a few times...Tony Bennett was good. Who's on Top was the high point for me.

All My Children, WDHX, Parenting Skills and Angels in Trenches were flat out NOT FUNNY.

I'd call it a weak show. Maybe 20percent funny for me.

Oh, and someone tell me how the hell Radiohead got so popular. I don't see it.

Red Flag was good, but could have been much funnier with very little work.

Found it interesting that there was absolutely no change in the cast from last season, save for Nasim's promotion from "featured" to "starring". Nobody joined or left. Can't remember offhand the last time that happened.

Yes, just make it half as long---same with most SNL sketches.

I'm not usually much for impressions, but some of them were pretty good...(Alan Alda, Crispin Glover, Al Pacino)

I refuse to recognize the current album as being from "Radiohead" It doesn't exist.

I noticed their was quite a bit of line flubbing and was Samberg missing his cue in the AMC skit intentional or not?

I thought it was pretty strong, on the whole.

But maybe my expectations have been lowered over the last few seasons.

Now that I'm not on my phone...

I enjoyed it, but it was not his absolute best.

I was goofing around and doing other things during the Top Gun commercial. Whoever did the Alan Alda got my attention, though-I thought it WAS Alda. There were some really good impressions there. I do not care for Jay Pharoah's impressions, so this was a nice look at what the others could do.

Oh, and I've always been a huge Harvey Firestein fan, so that impression in particular made me laugh.

ETA: I'm rewatching it now. Crispin Glover. :D

Thankfully they didn't have him do Denzel or Will Smith yet again - he's played both of them out.

Oh, and Tony Bennett rocked.

Tony Bennett was excellent; loved the smile. Alan Alda was pretty amazing: the voice was perfect.

Overall I enjoyed it more than most. Was Seth Rogan in anything besides the monologue and the closing? I didn't notice him. Kind of lame if not.

Alec Baldwin seems to have lost a lot of weight since last season; he looked pretty trim. Anyone know what the deal was with the sign he held up during the close?

WTF Radiohead? I don't really like the new album THAT much but that performance by Yorke made me consider no longer even caring about the band. I've seen Radiohead live (5 years ago-ish?) and they were very, very good. Yorke's voice at that time was quite incredible. On SNL it was horrifically bad. It felt like a bad American Idol audition. So disappointing!

The episode wasn't too bad. I enjoyed several moments, including (a rarity) the political stuff.

I thought the episode was good. I have remained a fan from the start and have never understood the claims the show has gotten terrible. Every year, several episodes are good and several are mediocre and several are less than mediocre in my opinion but the show is certainly among my all-time favorites. It is a great show for TiVo, I admit to skipping skits I know I won't like but if find 20 minutes of good comedy entertainment during any show, it is a good in my opinion. The Top Gun and Red Flag skits were well done and funny, the cast did a nice job overall.

I am a Radiohead fan but I only own "The Bends", "Kid A" and "OK Computer" and don't recall even hearing any other albums. I sure wouldn't be a fan if that performance was my first exposure.
