One of the best cold opens in quite some time, good concept, well executed, very funny.

I thought the Coryn Syrup Producers of America thing was pretty funny.

The rest of the show? Not so much.

edit to add: The Original Kings of Catchprase Comedy was almost painful to watch.

His monologue was the best I've seen in a long, long time.

    I agree.
    Unfortunately for all of us
    - the rest of the show happened after it.
    Oy.

I enjoyed the Scared Straight skit and I usually do.

The Talk skit was stupid and I watch that show regularly not a single one of them acts like the way they were represented in that skit and it was obvious to me that nobody involved watches that show.

Did anyone else think that Bobby Moynihan looked like Chris Farley with that wig on in the Dog in Heaven skit?

I've only watched part of it, but the monologue was awesome. Best in a long while.

my favorite part of his monologue was talking about the Axe body spray. I loved the fact that the black guy in the band behind him was cracking up.

"If you don't understand that joke, then you're not a racist."

I almost choked on my food watching that monologue. One of the most memorable in a long time.

I don't watch "The Talk" or "The View" but Abby Elliott reeeallly looked and sounded like Leah Remini to me-I thought it was her at first! I thought it was funny at the end when Whoopi showed up-:D

LOVED Zach's monologue-when he pulled up the "Little Orphan Annie" dress and we saw his "tightie-pinkies" I about died laughing :D:p

This was not as good as his first show, for sure-but not as bad as others' sophomore efforts-cough-Jon Hamm-cough ;)

I watch SNL regularly, then always ask myself "Why?". I seem to find very little of it entertaining, and less of it actually funny.

The monoLogue this week, though, was very funny! Zach Looks for a New Assistant I thought was great, too. Not histerical funny, but great with those kids in there. "Not funny. Not funny. Kind of funny."

The Talk, The Original Kings of Catchphrase Comedy, Celebrity Scoop - not the least bit funny. Scared Straight - only a tiny bit funny, if that.

Was the Noodles sketch loosely based on "Modern Family"? Had that kind of feel for me.

Yeah-was it during the digital short or after when Zach said something about "Some parents will do anything for their kids to get an acting gig..." ;) The kids were cute-and Zach was great with them-what did he say during the monologue-"I'll be babysitting my sister's kids via Skype!" :D:p

Why was the monologue so funny? Because it's his own material.

That's exactly what my wife said!

    I liked the monologue.

I liked Scared Straight, though not as much as Betty White's or Taylor Swift's.

I liked Zach Looks For A New Assistant.

I kinda liked both musical performances though I had never heard of her.

I think it has become force of habit and the idea that I might actually miss some water cooler moment. Not that that has happened in a while.

I saw Jessie J on The Graham Norton Show a few weeks ago which leads me to believe she might be British.

What is with this fashion trend in female pop singers wearing unitards? Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Rihanna - must we see you all singing in your bathing suits?
Talk about camel toe. Not attractive.

She is British. My wife looked her up during the first song.

In her performance, I could see influences of Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Lady GaGa, Fergie, and Joss Stone at different times.

I had never heard of Jessie J. I didn't expect to like her, but she definitely has a very unique style. I couldn't bring myself to FF through her songs, which is a good sign.

I'm in the "The monologue was the show highlight" camp. The rest, rather weak.

Zack brought a new twist to the "Scared Straight" sketch that breathed a tiny bit of new life into that largely used-up concept, but other than that, meh...

Awesome monologue! But just about every sketch after featured Kristen Wigg, so I naturally skipped through it.
