No thread for this ? What happened ?

    I'm no SeanC.

I always enjoy Charles even though he's awkward at times. His "there's only one problem with my diet........I'm hungry ALL THE TIME" was pretty funny.

The Shaq thing was a good idea that didn't work, the Lesbian scene seemed to have no point.

I enjoyed the episode overall though (as I always tend to do with SNL - sorry)

I like Kelly OK but the sound was not that great as usual.

Thanks to NBC's weird schedule, my DVR cut off the entire cold open, despite my SP being padded by 5 minutes, beginning and end, due to SNL's tendency to do this!! (So, I have no clue what the cold open even was.)

However, with that gripe out of the way, I loved the sketch in which Keenan Thompson played Charles Barkley and Charles Barkley played Shaq. When the host is willing to let one of the cast members play them in a sketch while they play another celebrity it usually works pretty well, and this was no exception.

I've been in love with Kelly Clarkson for years. She's only OK looking in the pure physical attractiveness department, but she's truly, truly mega-talented as a singer (no need for lip syncing or auto-tuning here!), and she strikes me as a gal who'd be super interesting and fun to be around. Always a great musical guest!

I missed the whole last 45 minutes, something happened with NBC where it was pushed back.

LOVED the White People Problems segment. 'Then what did she say?' I don't know, I stopped listening...

Kelly Clarkson is pretty talented. I enjoyed the one performance I saw, the 2nd was not recorded.

Mine got cut off. I was grateful; pretty terrible.

Mine was also cut off due to a game. I think I lost the last half hour (everything after weekend update).

I really liked the "White People Problems", but that's about it.

Didn't feel it worth the effort to find and download the show to see the rest of it.

This episode had its moments (I, too, liked the White People Problems" skit), but Charles seemed very awkward for much of the show.

Charles being awkward is part of the charm of his appearances.

I didn't like this episode at all, but that was hilarious.

It definitely had moments. I deleted it right after I watched it, and I kind of wish I hadn't. I usually rewatch it at least once with heavy use of fast forward.

This. He's awkward, but manages to make his awkwardness part of the "funny".

White People Problems was one of the funnies skits I have ever seen. Every time they have a host from now on of any other race than white they need to do another one of these.

The TNT sketch actually almost makes me want to start watching the TNT basketball studio show. And I don't care a whit about basketball. :)

Hmm.. I don't think you'd enjoy it for a non-basketball fan, they've highly exaggerated the characters obviously and there is lots of BBall talk. :)
