I guess SeanC is taking the day off.

I liked it, and thought it was one of the best eps of the season.

    Highlights:

    The Rocking Bar Mitzvah party
    Pee Wee "Shots".

I, too, enjoyed the Rockin' Bar Mitzvah-I thought it was "Top of the charts" :p

Loved "Taylor Swift's" comment-I'm a foot taller than the tallest man here!:D

And Cee-Lo's "If there's one thing that Jake can do, it's -Speak He-Breeeewwwww..." ;)

I also liked the digital short-I can't believe they got Chairy AND Pterry! ;) And Chairy's got a mouth on her! :D

I also enjoyed the False History-Jay Pharoah was the funniest-"Look out, Hamlet-there's a ghost behind you!" and "Oh, HELL, NAY!" :D
And of course Bill Hader did a spot-on impression of the late "Previews-voice guy" :p
"Let's all go to the lobby-and get some boiled duck!"

Sorry, the only funny bit last night was the Digital Short! However, that piece more than made up for the rest of that craptastic episode.

I really like Vanessa Bayer, who has played Miley Cyrus in the past and was the embarrassed Bar Mitzvah boy.

Something about that awkward, toothy smile is very attractive.

    +1

Though I did also like the skit tying into the "Forget" you song. The rest of the skits weren't funny.

I was disappointed that they didn't do a duet with Cee-Lo and Gwyneth Paltrown, but I can understand why Cee-Lo wouldn't want to do that.

I also found it funny that you could hear the crowd sing "F**k you" after they cut the song in the skit where "Forget" wasn't allowed by the FCC.

I liked that skit too- "Language!" :p

    She's a straight-up Country Strong! :D
You can't say pu**y even if you mean cat!
    Did you mean cat?
    NO! :D:p

That was pretty good! The cold open had me worried but the monologue made up for it.

I thought the Forget You skit was a brilliant segue to his announcement.

I actually completely beg to disagree. I don't care for her at all. It seems like every character is Miley Cyrus.

I can see how one might find her attractive, though.

Our NBC was out for about 40 minutes, so I don't have most of the show. And the only sketch I have watched from the rest was the Bar Mitzvah sketch.

Yeah, too bad the FCC won't let it be sung how it was meant to be. Changing that one word changes the true meaning of the lyrics. Instead of "eat sh** and die" it becomes "let bygones be bygones". :p
    F the FCC!

I liked this show. The 16/17th century theater thing was very funny. Anderson Cooper randomly getting hit with a chair is always good for a laugh as well.

Strongest SNL so far this season, hands down.

I thought everything worked, at least at some level.

Best digital short since "Mother Lover".

I've seen this song done a couple of times in karaoke and it always gets the crowd singing along. I find it funny when the women sing along since it's the tale of a man spurned by a gold-digger.

It threw me off the whole time. I was thinking seriously, he isn't just short he is super short, I mean I guess when you stand next to Gwyneth Paltrow anyone can look short.

The Bar Mitzvah sketch was hilarious. Bending back forks? That's just meshugenah.

I've never seen this Cee Lo before. He should play Penguin in the next Batman flick.

I don't remember "SNL" ever leading from a sketch directly into the musical guest's performance, as they did with the "Forget You" sketch.

Also, Cee Lo may have set a record for sketch appearances by the musical guest (aside from occasions when the same person was host and musical guest).
