One person's skeleton face is another person's prize.
I don't suffer from that, but everyone likes different things in women. To some, she is unattractive. To me, she's very pretty, but not exceedingly so. A bit thin for my tastes also, but that's Hollywood.
Speaking of continuity, first Kara bends the bars, then Clark partially unbends them. Next shot of him, the bars are completely straight. Close-up of her, the bars appear to be now bent in the opposite way from before. Then they are bent (as at first) again. Then they are straight.
I usually am not at all picky about stuff like that, but it was soooo blatant that it made me think it was done that way on purpose.
Wow. That was "Saturday morning live action hero show from the 70s" bad. I mean really, really bad.
And I was taken aback by Lana knowing Clark's secret. I must have blanked that episode out.
Oh, and did Chloe get a boob reduction?!?!?!
How exactly can this thread contain 'spoilers' when the episode didn't even have a plot?
OK, you people debating the flying thing do realize that clark KNOWS that he is capable of flying, right? I mean he flew in an episode while "possessed" and they discussed it on and off since then throughout the series.
Also, Valdemort is pretty but I find her to be kind of grotesquely thin, even for a smallville actress. She seems a little too tall to me though... I always picture supergirl as a shorty.
My only complaint about her is that she seems too old to be Supergirl. Other than that, I think she's beautiful.
She's an alien dude. If you think she's pretty you are guilty of bestiality. Same applies to Clark.
Seriously though. What the hell is up with being able to destroy kryptonite with heat vision?!?!?!?!?
It literally renders Superman invincible.
I agree. In fact, I thought I remembered a scene in the season premiere where Kara was kind of making fun of him for not being able to fly and he said "I'm working on it" or something like that. I think he knows he can fly, he's just not been able to make it happen yet.
Yeah, they really need to do away with the "no tights, no flights" edict. Well, at least the flight part.
Well, wouldn't just wearing a lead suit render Superman invincible, too?
No... you were right the first time.
I do think he needs to start flying, but Greatest American Hero style.
Invincible against everything except a trademark infringement lawsuit...
But they did do away with it when they have OTHER characters fly.
How is it they keep to this just because clark doesnt fly?
Uhh, you're confusing X-ray vision with Kryptonite radiation.
X-rays = stopped by lead. Kryptonite = not stopped by lead.
And the whole point is that if Superman can just blow up kryptonite with his eyeballs how the heck do you kill him?
Technically they've broken the edict already. If you look at Kara during the 'audition' thing. She's wearing the trademark skirt and blue/red shirt thing that makes up her costume. It's as good as wearing tights.
Hide the kryptonite until you get close
Uh, no. It's well established fact that lead stops kryptonite.
Like how Clark is always wearing a blue t-shirt and a red jacket?
