Since RC42, App cannot access Guide program data while TiVos in Standby

Since RC42 was pushed out to TiVo units, the TiVo app stalls at displaying program data from the Guide of a TiVo in Standby mode (essentially disabling the scheduling of recordings). Standby units are also not recognized as being in-network, when applicable, therefore a TiVo can't access its My Programs.

Once woken up from Standby, internetwork and app access returns to normal.

Yet another bug to throw into the pile....

Is that from explicit Standby or from power saving? Which platform?

I thought those two were the same thing. Anyway, it's platform independent, as TiVos can't recognize eachother across the same network if the target unit is in Standby.

You and me both. FWIW, it happens only when the units are in Standby; whether they're set up for PS is irrelevant in my case. The workaround is to keep the units from going into Standby, but that defeats the purpose, obviously.

P.S. One of the units is restarting spontaneously again. <sigh>
