Okay, I enjoyed this episode more than 24! Great spoof. I didn't notice Principal Skinner setting up a "hard perimeter" around the school, though. ;)

I thought they both were great. It was nice to see some good Simpsons again.

The opening was cool..."previously on 24, I mean The Simpsons"...and the fonts throughout the episode were just about spot on.

But I thought the most accurate depiction of "24" was the fact that the credits were STILL displaying 8 minutes into the episode!!

I also liked the "I'm Jack Bauer, who the hell are you?" line. (the promos kept "censoring" it with "heck").

Bart prank calling Bauer = priceless.

Great premise and carried off well.

Okay, Simpsons Episode 400. I liked it. Am still waiting for the movie!!!

Now the question that came to mind a couple weeks ago. Deal or No Deal was advertising its 100th episode. How the heck can they be at ep 100 and Simpsons only at 400? Did I miss something here?

Thats what happens when you have a show on fifteen times a week, as opposed to a 22 order season.

It was good, but I had expected that Jack and Chloe were going to be in it a little more. They had about five lines between them it seemed.

I actually LOL during these episodes. I haven't done that in a while.

As far as timing, did the episode start 40 seconds early for everyone?
I recorded the episodes "for posterity" and Tivo didn't start recording when the episode started.
Tivos' time when the episode started -- 6:59:20 pm CST.

I didn't like it as well as other Simpsons episodes but that may be due to the fact that I have never seen the TV show 24

I watch 24 faithfully but this episode of the Simpsons is just as lackluster as it's been the past few years. I laughed a few times, but it wasn't near as good as I had hoped. The opportunity was wasted. I was going to put it on a DVD for my non-Simpsons-watching friends, but now I won't.

Also, you can put me into the "not enough Jack & Chloe" camp.

I know you can see Prison Break and 24 online, and I was wondering if there is a place I can watch The Simpsons? I missed the 400th show, and would love to see it.

I gave it a chance when I heard of the premise. I ended up fast-forwarding through most of it. I did laugh out loud at the juvenile "put me on your weiner" bit with the ketchup or mustard.

    That too!

so when is Landing Strip on again? I didnt catch the time

Also i dont know squat about politics but guess fox was poking fun at itself for behaving in a stereotypical certain way? Or was it because foxnews is always on president palmers screen and just part of a crossover?

They were poking fun at the conservative tilt FOX News has.

More precisely, the contrast between Fox News being uber-conservative, while its corporate cousin, the Fox network, was the former home of trash like Temptation Island and Joe Millionaire... Not to mention FX rockin' good (but decidedly edgy fare) like Dirt, Nip/Tuck and The Shield. Definitely a Brent Bozell/Ned Flanders blood pressure raiser.
