Since this is Tuesday 10/29 and there is no thread yet, I figured there was probably not enough interest for an episode thread, so here is a season thread for the final season-

I thought the first ep was a strong start to the season, but so much of it was already shown in the previews!

Thomas Middleditch heaving and barfing never gets old for me-it cracks me up every time!

    USA 2.0, v. 1776 :D

Loved seeing Big Head and Jian Ying. And so sweet to see Jared find a new friend after Richard distanced himself from Jared-literally and physically....Mwung, was it? Already deleted the ep.

And Dinesh trolling Gilfoyle with the AI bot.....I LOVE Martin Starr-still blows my mind that he is the same actor from "Freaks and Geeks." Of course I love Kumail too. They play so well off of each other. YOUR MOM! :p:p

So what does everyone else think?

I thought it was a good start to the season, although very glad for the recap because I had really forgotten a lot in the long break. :)

Any analysis on differences in the opening credit roll. Usually they tweak it based upon current news.

Strong start. Sad it's the final season. Saw it coming that Richard using the audio indexing to try to get Colin to stop recording user data as Colin seeing it as a great tool to track users. Loved the AI Gilfoyle ("Who is this? / "Your Mom") :)

Loved the lazy guy who wanted Dinesh to resend the email so it would be at the top of his inbox. OMG, so true.

The previous seasons all aired in the springtime from 2014 to 2018. Season 5 aired from
    March 25 to May 13, 2018.

A year and a half between seasons 5 and 6 instead of the usual year.

Funny and enjoyable wrap up to the series.

The 10 year look forward aspect was funny especially seeing where BigHead ended up. And a sneak peak of Erlich Bachman perhaps.

That was Jian-Yang pretending to be Erlich.

That storyline ending was pretty dark compared to the rest! Since apparently Jian-Yang took over Erlich's money and identity, possibly killing him. :)

Did you happen to notice his 'security guard' though?

Not really... I don't think it was supposed to be Erlich, though. It definitely wasn't T.J. Miller. Jian-Yang would never have kept Erlich around. :)

Great wrap up. Going to miss this show. Jin Yiang being Bachman was telegraphed from miles away but I still thought it was hilarious. One of many simple yet well done bits.

...like how Laurie was in prison-but they never said why-and she was exactly the same as she ever was...

    "Can you elaborate?"
    Yes...
    (pause...)
    "Can you?"
    :D:D:D

I loved Dinesh's being so out of breath running up the stairs and then his talk-to-text getting mangled (can't quote it, already deleted the ep)...
And then Dinesh and Guilfoyle end up working together! :p Love it!

Good finalé (though too reminiscent of The Office)
Could have done without Bill Gates ;)
