So unfortunately for me I have a have a lot of time to kill lately.

I have Netflix and Amazon Prime.

What shows are awesome that one could binge.

I friend said sense 8 and I see threads here. I just got done with always sunny in Philadelphia. And caught up with Hannibal.

I have many varied interests, and would appreciate as many suggestions as possible.

Oldie, but if you haven't seen it: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Veronica Mars but I'm not sure if it's currently streaming.

We (my daughter and I) just finished watching Veronica Mars a few months ago. Second go-round for me, first for her. At least at that time, it was available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

We're currently making our way through Buffy. It's not really nearly as good as I remember it being (blasphemy, I know). I'm hoping it gets markedly better, because I keep telling my daughter that it does. We're about 8 episodes into season 2 (via Netflix).

A few come to mind, along similar lines:

    Fringe (Amazon Prime and Netflix)
American Horror Story (Amazon Prime and Netflix)
    True Blood (Amazon Prime)
    Sleepy Hollow (currently airing)
    Walking Dead (Netflix)
From Dusk Till Dawn (the series) (Amazon VOD)
    The Strain (Amazon VOD)

Not occult, but I'll add in:

    Black Mirror (Netflix)
    Fargo (Amazon VOD)
    Daredevil (Netflix)
    Spartacus (Netflix)

Welcome Olivia! There was a thread a bit ago for summer TV watching which might have some good suggestions.

In addition to others above there are the classics such as The Wire, The West Wing, even Lost which are streaming now. I really enjoyed the made-for-Amazon series "Bosch". If you like comedies be sure to catch Sports Night (although I think it's not streaming free on either Netflix or Amazon, but you can get it on Hulu... blech!).

    Welcome to the Community, Olivia!

There was a show that lasted only one season, but I found to be very good.

It is called Terriers, but really has nothing to do with dogs.

It is available on Netflix - check the synopsis and see if it looks like something you'd be interested in!

Last week I watched a sci fi show a friend said would make me mad that it didn't last very long. It is called Firefly. OMG I love that show. Cowboys in outer space.

He was right. I can't believe they didn't make anymore. That's the end? grrrrr.

Oh and if anyone hasn't seen it. The unbreakable kimmy schmidt. I love it.

Is 'West Wing' available on Netflix? It used to be available for free Amazon Prime Streaming, but no longer is. I did a lot of rewatching of that when I could.

Since I don't have Netflix streaming, I can only suggest stuff available on Amazon Prime. From there, I recommend 'Transparent' and 'Veep' and 'The Americans'

Serenity is also on Netflix, I believe. It's a full-length feature film that sort-of wraps up the show.

OMG, there are so many. Maybe you should ask for genres:

    Comedy:
    Chuck
    Scrubs.
    Cheers
    Friends
    Pushing Daisies.
    Parks & Rec
    The Office
    Taxi
    News Radio
    Sports Night

    Sci-Fi:
X-Files (saw it when it originally aired, just started watching with the kids on Netflix).
Lost (watched it when it aired, re-watched it twice now with the boys; girls should be old enough next year).
    BSG (2005 reboot)

    Drama:
    Mad Men.
    The Americans
    Suits
    The Blacklist
    The Killing

    UK Drama:
    Sherlock
    The Fall
    Broadchurch
    Life on Mars
    Luther

There are tons more. For Netflix I usually check out the ratings and anything over 4.2 is usually worth checking out.
    http://netflixcanadavsusa.blogspot.com/

That site maintains lists which show what's available in the US, Canada or both. And it rates the shows.

Yes, all of West Wing is streaming on Netflix.

Also if you don't mind the hero genre, the Netflix series Daredevil was pretty good.

I was going to recommend this, too, but couldn't remember the name. Thanks!
