Wasn't there a thread where people posted pictures of their HD setup with Tivo? Or was that on another forum. I tried searching but couldn't find anything similar on TCF.

If it doesn't exist, I'd be open to starting off here if others are interested/curious... I'm curious to see what inventive ways people have mounted/wired their TVs with TiVo vs. standard stands...

No volunteers yet? I'll break the ice on my own thread:

Westinghouse LTV-32w6, cheap LCD, but still does a good job.
Humax T800 with a Dish 811 on the top shelf. Samsung DVD system with TiVoHD on the bottom shelf.

Compact outdoor antenna mounted perfectly for apartment living with a christmas tree stand and pole. Believe it or not, it works great. :)

Looks like your DVR boxes cost more than your TV. ;)

Love the antenna mount. Do you put garland on it in December? :)

aus1ander, are you using a mix of basic digital cable and OTA? I've considered that, as I know the Tivo HD will mix them into one guide.

I have an unusual combination since my apartment complex uses a small cable subcontractor instead of Charter. I have digital OTA (as you can see) and basic analog cable to the TiVoHD (which includes all my locals in SD, and maybe 10 other channels including FX), and satellite for the rest using the central dish at my complex. So when I made the jump to TiVoHD, I kept my old T800 to record the cable shows I like off satellite and the TiVoHD for all the network programming--which works great since I was dealing with programming conflicts all last year and now with the dual tuner, not only can I record in HD, I can actually record all of the shows I like.

And believe it or not, that TV is perfect for the size of my living room. And since its already 1 year old, it wasn't THAT cheap... :)

My stuff is in a cabinet out of sight. The only thing I have out is the TV (for obvious reasons).

    It's not very picturesque. :)

I think thats the whole point though. I'm more curious to see how people have been able to hide their components...

Thought you snuck into my house and took a picture. I have the same TV, TV stand, Tivo and a similar Sony receiver, but the Sony DVD. (Your subs too close to the TV).

Get out! That's crazy! I hear you on the sub, but I have no where else to put it; it's a tight space.

Also, I don't have sound coming out of the TV. I just use the sound from the Sony system.

I got you beat, I got a big white spot on my tv from the flash, not to mention I don't have a TV stand yet and there's wires everywhere, and junk piled up becuase I have to move to my apartment on campus this weekend.

I just got my new Sharp 32" 720P LCD a month ago and My Tivo Series 3 on July 23.

I'm looking to buy a good tv stand in the $100 to $200 Rang soon. Does anyone have a good suggestion for one for a small dorm / appartment room on campus? I like the looks of this one, but don't know if it would be too big or not for a 32" http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...stand&lp=5&type=product&cp=1&id=1174693928518

Edit: Yeah, I know it's probably not the best set up to have the tv on the Tivo, but it is all I can do, tivo is 3 inches deeper then the bookshelf, and with the wires attached in the back it just tips forwards and falls out. Atleast the tv is only like 6 pounds heavier then the tivo box. God it's so nice that its only 20 pounds or so, my old 27 inch tv was 90 or so pounds.

I know, it's so sexy, I should be so proud :D

Hey, at least I have the beatiful beach scene with the corona. Haha, that just happened to be on when I took the picture, I didn't plan it.

Yeah, I was almost to embarrassed by the setup I got, I'm slowly getting there though, my new apartment for my senior year residence and a TV stand should be so much better, I'll have to post an updated picture.
