Stop calling it a warranty. it is not a warranty but a subscription to the Tivo service which includes guide, DVR functions , among other things.

If the Series 3 hasn't been activated, then it is a lost cause because they stopped activating them months ago.
If it hasn't connected in over a year, they think it's dead, even though it has lifetime service.

Have you verified this? I purchased a lifetime Tivo HD that hasn't been connected in over a year, but Tivo transferred it to my account and shows lifetime service.

Mine hasn't been used in a while maybe a year not sure so it's not on my account anymore and I can't sell it and someone can use it with the LT. I read the TiVo Series HD one that I have can still be activated I thought but I guess I need to find out.

All Tivo's in your ownership, no matter how long ago they phoned home, should show up in your account. If they don't, call Tivo.

Bolts are 4 tuners, so you lose 2 compared to the Roamio pro.

Also, if replacing the internal drive with a larger one, Bolts take 2.5" drives and they are not very reliable (yet). What's available in the 2.5" form is up to 5TB, made for laptops.

The last model (Roamio) will take up to 8TB and its the PC type 3.5" hard drives.

Premiere's are able to use 8TB as well.

Oh Ok Thanks! We are fine with the Roamio and I love TiVo but the Vox just sounds cool with the Voice. But if I was to get one I would want the highest newest one with the most HD and Tuners but I doubt we get one anytime soon wince our Roamio is fine and we have 2 mini's. We almost switched to the Hopper and Joey's (Dish) back in 2013 when we got our condo and I'm glad we didn't. But now we have an extra bedroom in our new house and I would like another TV and Mini.
