Yes, but why did he run and why is he back?
I am certain that Steve left because the cop made him leave or he was going to arrest him. I find it strange that the first place Steve went when he came back to town was the cops house. Maybe he is going to apologize?
Frank running around the entire episode in that vomit stained shirt was a little much, good thing I already had the Stomach Flu that ripped through our area
Nah. I can't imagine what would lead you to that conclusion.
He ran because Steve was going to arrest him for stealing cars if he didn't. He came back because Fiona kept calling him and he loves her.
Probably just another of my whacked-out theories...
That's what bothered me! Why would he come back and right to the cop's house who was the main reason he left in the first place.
Enough so that he risks jail?
Your unwillingness to risk something for love is not universal.
I think it's more than just his love for Fiona. There is a lot about Steve that we don't know. Remember they gave him that whole rich family back story? They never really explained why he was stealing cars for a living.
I assumed he stole cars because he got off on it. He enjoyed the rush. He grew up a rich kid, not needing anything. It's rebelliousness.
Then why did he not talk to her? it seems that they bumped into each other by accident. Fiona would not have known he was in town had she not come home right then.
Because she burned him once. And so he's being cautious.
I don't think it's that at all. He wasn't there for her. He was at the other house and leaving and she just happened to be coming home at that time. Had she been 5 minutes early or late, they would have missed each other completely.
I'm not disputing that he loves her, that she loves him, and that they are both being cautious. I just don't think he was back for her or because of her.
