If you are watching a live show and you want to pause it, and resume at some time between now and 30 mins later there should be no problem; now what happens when you have a delayed "live" TV on one tuner and you decided to switch to another tuner, and back? According to the common sense you should return to the delayed show. Well, it returns you the "live" point of the show preserving the buffer. I am not sure if this "functionality" was there in the previous releases of the Tivo software.

If you press the Pause key before switching, TiVo will remember that point upon your return.

As noted above, you need to pause before switching tuners.

When you pause, the TiVo remembers your place so you can switch to the other tuner and back. After 30 minutes, the paused tuner will resume playing from the rear of the buffer (i.e. 30 minutes ago).
