Advertisements I have an original Series 3 (model 648) that got the software upgrade (v9.4xxx) within the first day or so of TiVo putting it out (my other HD TiVos have not gotten it yet) I was just looking at a new menu under Network & phone called network diagnostic..some neat stuff there for the technical curious but under port testing the word FAIL got my attention. By selecting that item the instructions say to connect to TiVo so your TiVo will know what ports to test ?? So I forced a connection and no difference as I still had the word FAIL, tried MRV in both directions no problems. Does anybody know what this port test is all about and do others with V9.4 show fail ??
